很不錯的酒店，在湖區西部荒原之間的山麓中，這個可以追溯到14世紀的酒店，保留著傳統的木材框架，唯獨路程比較艱辛，一路的高地美景和大海天衣無縫的銜接，湖區一道非常靚麗的風景線

A really great hotel

The Location is Beautiful, Grounds are very well maintained with stunning views of the hills. The actual building we stayed in was fantastic for the space you get and the facilities. We made use of the bbq and the huge oven upstairs aswel as playing pool and table football. Plenty of beds which aren't crammed in, great for 3 small families or group stays. Can't speak highly enough, I will be going back hopefully end of Aug as just around the corner is a beautiful lake which is crystal clear and so serene :-)

Amazing location and amazing hotel. We loved our stay however it could do with some refurbishment. It is a dog friendly place so maybe could do with a deep clean in the restaurant area. The food was good but all the dog hair everywhere was a bit unpleasant. However we would still come back.

Lovely hotel with good food and friendly staff. We stayed in one of the self catering cottages but were able to book evening meals & breakfasts in the restaurant. Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds.

Lovely place to stay, property was well equipped, staff were very friendly. we stayed in a self catering property which was lovely , had some areas that could go with a lick of paint but was really nice . I would stay again

This place is excellent, location for me was perfect, food both dinner and breakfast was first class but more than anything the staff were AWESOME!

It's a tranquil peaceful place in beautiful countryside. Lovely breakfast/room and bath. No complaints. Enjoyed our stay

Not a 4 star hotel. Very fated and in desperate need if a refurb and a giod clean. It was like stepping back into the 70s. The room was fithy and there were 2 people running the whole place that were running around everywhere looking stressed. Not the relaxing break we were hoping for

The hotel is lovely, the staff are great, really warm rooms & nice food.

The staff were very good and its a very dog friendly place. Lots of walks available in the area.

Lovely, service was brilliant.

Irton Hall is a historic property in a quiet part of the Lake District but near to Eskdale, Wasdale and Ravenglass. They have kept the original buildings (no concrete hotel block behind) and the open lawn, across which a multitude of peacocks march around. The food in the bar was far better than normal bar food - my venison must have been stewed for hours, it was so dark, rich and tasty! Game pie was good too.

Beautiful building and property. Spacious rooms with decent wifi, fridge, fan and comfortable chairs and bed. Good restaurant in the building too. Enjoyed the critters in the yard: cats, peacocks, Guinea hens, chickens, geese, and scrunchy faced pigs. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

Very nice grounds and grand looking property. Rooms need updating. Couldnt see any view unless stood right by the small windows and then it was only the tops of nearby trees and the rubbish bins. Staff were very nice and breakfast was A1
