I requested for a deluxe king room but was given a 2 double beds room which was not ideal for us. This is the second time this has happened and not good enough. Away from this, the staff and service were great.

Having stayed at other Marriot hotels - this is modern on the outside BUT the rooms are very old/ dated. The room had no sockets next to or near the bed & old USB sockets located on the desk. The design is outdated with dark wood furniture resembling the 1990s.
The bathroom resembled and old fashioned welcome breaks, days inn or Premier Inn with old bathtub & fittings. I expected walk-in showers and some modernity reflecting the exorbitant £200 p/night!!
I was surprised to be charged for parking as it’s located on a business estate outside of the city centre. Disappointed.
