There is no airflow in basement room, I cannot even breath when I just opened the door. I cannot imagine if I need to stay here for 2 nights!! I lost my control and immediately go to reception argued with staff there. He said this is the basement room in a very cheap price, no air conditioner is a must in London hotel. I understand air conditioner is not a must but it definitely stated in Expedia intro of this hotel!! That means the Expedia information is wrong ??!!! I am so disappointed and wanted to cancel for my 2nd night. He rejected and suggested me to upgrade by adding RBP30, I paid as I cannot find another hotel by spending RBP30 for a night. Finally, I spent RBP150(Booking price + Upgrade charges) for my another night in this hotel. I am sure I can find a better one in this amount!! For my 1st basement room night, I switched on 4 fans the whole night in order to stay alive. And toilet is outside the room, very small. In conclusion, I must choose other hotel if I need to pay this amount of $$$.

Every time you needed to get staff you had to go outside the hotel, ring the door bell and talk through the door bell microphone. Staff then came from across the road, so I am assuming this is not the only hotel this family/company own. The room was small and awkwardly arranged with the bed up against the wall, making it difficult for the person sleeping next to the wall to get out of bed without disturbing the person next to them. The window was single glazed and in such a dreadful state that a cold draft was always coming into the room. The radiator was on full (possibly because of the single glazed broken window) but could not be turned down as the radiator valve was broken. The room had been cleaned but the quality of fittings and installations made the room feel very shabby. The worst thing of all was the excessive noise. With only a single glazed broken window the sounds from outside were very loud. Cars and lorries, plus noisy mopeds and large crowds of people. The busy pub opposite (plus a number of restaurants and two other pubs nearby) led to noisy revellers talking loudly and often yelling until midnight. On top of all this was the sound of the underground that penetrated the room as many as 3 trains a minute at peak times. The underground trains didn’t cease until 43 minutes past midnight and started again at 05.18am. We will not be using this hotel again.

The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower performance was good. The shampo/shower gel was nice quality.

Well it served a purpose and was cheap and cheerful. Pros.. near kings x and euston and theres a brilliant patisserie on the corner. Bedding and bathroom very clean.Cons.. the room was taller than it was wide and a bit scruffy nothing a lick of paint wouldnt sort bit bedding was clenxxxxxxxxxxxxx

This place is essentially a hole underground—albeit in a very convenient location. The towels are clean, and the person who welcomes you is genuinely friendly. But beyond that, it’s still a hole. You’ll either find yourself in a cellar room next to the garbage bins, with a lovely view of strangers’ feet walking past, or squeezed into a room so narrow you can touch both walls at once by stretching your arms. Sound and smell isolation? Nonexistent. If the local youth are smoking weed on the stairs, you’ll enjoy it too—like it or not. When someone grabs a kebab from the night shop next door, you could practically join their conversation from your bed. And just when you think it can’t get better, the metro trains passing underneath don’t just make themselves heard—they’re felt. And they are frequent. If you only need a central location and a roof over your head, this place delivers. If you’re hoping for actual sleep… best look elsewhere.

This place is awful, just awful. Our expectations were pretty low to begin with after reading reviews, $1000 for 3 nights. SO dirty, SO hot, SO INCREDIBLY tiny, broken sink, crooked toilet, smells, exhaust from next door restaurant floating in, so loud…the only good thing was the staff gentleman was kind. RUN away from this place.

This was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. Pictures were very misleading. Very noisy— I had a sound machine with me so that helped. Overall seemed fairly clean, and location was good, but be aware the rooms are tiny and you can hear everything.

The bed was not really comfortable. A bit of mold in the shower but overall, it worked for us due to the great location.

The best part about this was the price and the location. We got more than what we paid for - a pretty decent private room, comfortable enough bed, more than workable bathroom. Would recommend for a semi-budget option.

Die Unterkunft liegt in ruhiger Lage im Stadtzentrum. Der Service war ohne Beanstandung. Einzige Mängel sind im Badezimmer zu nennen. Fugenlose Fliesen und Schimmel in der Dusche.

Hotel is decent and room was big and spacious. Very comfortable sleep.

The bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke. The shower didnt drain properly. Carpets very worn. Mattress however was very comfortable

Good location base. Original room a bit of a small layout but we were luckily offered another choice of room available which we took. Staff friendly and very helpful. Communal areas need refurbishing as heavy use. Busy area so if on lower levels can hear outside but have to expect this in a city. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Convenient stay close to workplace and main stations

The carpet was too dusty and untidy. It is very bad room for this price , but found great hotel in two minutes walk distance at perfect condition at the similar price. Felt unfortunate that I saw the good hotel nearby only after vacating from Leigh and at the end of my trip. The toilet wash basin was broken and looks filthy. Even there is no phone available to contact the reception,.had to come down to reception if we have any questions and couldn't even find the receptionist there when I went to give my key back.

Very tidy and the hotel is convenienet for the City and main train stations
