We have visited Longlands a few times but in the last few years mainly for a meal or just for drinks. This time we stayed 1 night and it was very good. Very comfortable bed and a good standard bathroom with very good shower. Breakfast was good too - I'd recommend the Breakfast Hash - a dish I'd not come across before and which was very tasty. Really nice friendly staff too.

Very modern, refurbished room, overlooking the beer garden and caravan site. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of goodies in the room, including fresh milk in the mini fridge, and the extra treats you get for staying with a doggo. The bathroom, bed and chairs were all super comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. I had dinner in the restaurant, and the staff were super polite and friendly. I then really enjoyed my breakfast bap in the morning, the choice of breakfast options and buffet items were brilliant too. The walk along the canal was beautiful too

It was an ok place to stay but expensive. I asked if they sold water in the morning as had forgotten to take any, £9.60 for 4 small bottles. A meal for 3 of us was £120 and the food was certainly not 4 star, more average. Waiting staff were really friendly.
I asked if we could check out later as we had to wait all day for my son to finish scuba diving nearby - £10 for an extra hour (but unavailable) and could not extend beyond that.

A very convenient stopover which is next to the canal,lovely for a stroll or a dog walk.
Finding the reception inside was a little confusing but soon sorted by the helpful staff.
Stairs to the rooms are a little steep as this is part of the original building however staff are happy to help carry bags to the room.
Our room was clean and looked recently decorated. The small oversight of lack of toiletries was resolved very quickly. Unfortunately the sound of a fan/pump was quite noticeable.
Recommend booking a table to eat in the evening as the restaurant was deservedly busy. The breakfast was excellent with a range of delicious choices.

Absolutely faultless stay! Beautiful clean room, really pleasant helpful staff, lovely breakfasts. Nice walks along the adjoining Marina & towpath. Will definitely stay there again.

Staff were super friendly and helpful and called before our arrival to make sure that the right type of room was being reserved for us, and then checked in again on arrival day, to see if we wanted any food pre-ordered before the restaurant closed (as we were arriving late evening). Really helpful and thoughtful.
The room was super comfortable, clean and up to date.
Would definitely stay again, if we are back in the area.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay with our springer spaniel. Great location for canal walks and very quiet despite the proximity of the motorway. The staff really stood out as being friendly, attentive and welcoming. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed every aspect of our weekend there.
