Good room, good breakfast and great grounds if travelling with a dog.

Weren't able to have an evening meal as we hadn't booked. Room was quite a distance from reception/restaurant. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was good too.

We needed a room that night and the very helpful, friendly, receptionist was excellent. The hotel is a beautiful, heritage, building set in extensive grounds that has been tastefully modernised. The only rooms available were standard twins which are small but very well appointed for a short stay.

Booked 2 twin rooms, but one room was made up as a double. Reported this to reception straight away. Said they would alter it by 7pm. Didn't happen. Reported to recetion in the morning and the room was set as a twin by the time we had returned that afternoon . And we were offered a bottle of fizz.

Excellent breakfast, comfy bed and a room with a good temperature and impressive house keeping. I had stupidly left 2 spoons in my room that had been cleared away by housekeeping but they managed to locate them next day!! That’s going the extra mile. The garden wing building isn’t the prettiest but the rooms are refurbed and the grounds of the hotel are nice. Changing rooms are small but for the price it’s a great deal.

Really nice room, great stuff, nice little pool, sauna and steam. Comfy bed.

One of our party was caught out by the hot water supply being stopped at 10:30 on a Sunday morning. Workmen cut it off and Recrotion had no knowledge of this.

Such a lovely hotel. Our room was pretty worn looking but clean. To make it a really top stay I'd say some updating of rooms in necessary but we loved our time there. GREAT food and fabulous staff and the hotel is in a beautiful setting. Really worth being based here to travel to Oxford and surrounding areas.

Excellent stay! Reasonably priced too compared to other local offerings. Could eat onsite, and go for a dip.

This hotel is simply beautiful. Everything that we needed. Especially how the welcomed our dog. Special thanks to Annie who was very kind and helpful. Will surely come back .

Staff very helpful- early check in. Rooms a little tired and in need of refresh. Plenty of car parking space.

had to move rooms as the damp walls and peeling plaster in the first room just didn't appeal! The second room was better, but eas still damp and cold. Oh and the bathroom floor tiles were loose!! The mattress!... I'd definitely recommend it to an enemy! The above said, the staff were helpful and polite!

Very averse hotel. Ok for one night after a wedding but would not want to spend more than 1 night

Lovely place to meet up with friends and chill, set in beautiful grounds. Lovely pool, jacuzzi and steam room. Room are comfortable.

We just stayed here for a couple of nights and it was absolutely amazing, all the staff were brilliant, especially one of the room cleaners, she was absolutely brilliant, we didnt catch her name. We would highly recommend this hotel
