Arrived about 9 45pm, went to our ground floor room, had quad beds. The heating didn't work so I went to the Reception and there was the Receptionist and another man. I said our heating didn't work, and the Receptionist said with a smile' Oh the heating comes on from 10pm for an hour ' I just dumb founded just said' It's December ' The other man said if it 10-11pm.then I can give you a heater'. I said I'll take the heater now!.
He said he would get it and bring it to the room.He followed me back into the room where my friend was waiting and proceeded say I'll show you how it works' and did show how it works. He said when it's warm enough switch it off... My friend looked at him with surprise and shock, he saw that and said 'er or you could put it on off as you want.'. He left and my friend and went over these events and could not believe what had happened! Then it was still cold and we found that after the demo of the heater he had switched it off!. So we kept it on all night!
The carpets (1990's) were old ruckled in parts especially outside ensuite to the point of being a trip hazard. We both are mobility impaired. The ensuite shower was found to have some hairs in it, and there was no kettle, ( Supposed to be as a, standard in 3 star!, we found out via looking at reviews in the hotel had a lounge come luggage room, where you could get a coffee in there but you couldn't take it back to your room! Couldn't believe it!.Breakfast reviews, were dire so ate out.Who let it be3*.
