Clean and spacious room, supermarket and restaurant nearby. Near the Eccles tram and bus station.

A 1970s office block converted into a hotel. Rooms are huge by UK standard, both the room and equipment are very clean. Staff is friendly and experienced. The main complaint would be the WiFi - averaging 100-500kb/s, which is slow even by 2010 standards. Certainly need a replacement. Elevators only stop on even floors, so you would need to walk 1/2 floor up or down to the 1F reception or room (uneven floor for me). Elevator is very fast and there are 3 of them, so no issues at all. The nearby Eccles Shopping Centre is being redeveloped, so it can get quiet at night. Large supermarket just opposite to the hotel. The Eccles town centre and train/tram station in around 5 minutes.

Basically ok for short stay. I checked in after midnight, staff was still around. But there were some people in the corridor slammed and knocked the door, probably for other rooms, felt a bit unsafe. And there was strong and over fragrance in the room that lasts forever. other things were all good.

Very good

Booked a twin room, it actually had 3 single beds and a large bathroom. Breakfast was included and there was a good choice of food available. Good choice of food in the evening. Only downside was the lifts and stairs. Reception was on level 1 but you had to get the lift to level 2 and go down a short flight of stairs due to the layout of the building. It was the same with all rooms, you either had to go up or down the stairs from the lift, which does make it unsuitable for anyone with severe mobility problems, such as in a wheelchair or mobility scooter, and awkward if you have a heavy case, which I did, or use a walking aid, as I do, but this was a last minute booking due to a late hotel cancellation. Overall a really good hotel with very friendly, helpful staff.

It was ideal for what we needed which was just a bed at night. It's a cheep and cheerful hotel but don't expect the Ritz

Friendly staff. Room had an awful musky smell. Only stayed in room for a few hours so that's why i didn't request to switch rooms.And the shower was stuck on hot. No way to cool it down. The hotel shares a building with other companies and a university so it's not your average hotel building.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Good choice for breakfast. Bar area is comfortable and well priced. Room was provided all we needed and was clean apart from the dried in stain across the curtains!

It was a nice hotel, very odd layout but rooms where clean and bathroom was nice and modern. Staff were attentive and very approachable. There was a pool table and darts in the bar area with some nice seating. Food was nice and breakfast buffet was a nice touch. Close to tram and train station to get into the city. Only a few minutes drive to media city too so good area.

Room was standard price and condition, though some of the beds probably need to be replaced. A/C in the rooms was great and it was a very tasty breakfast.

Only use as last option. Bit of a dump

Pretty unclean, bed sheets had marks on them, walls were all marked. Mattress was hard and pillows flat. The hotel bit of the building is not secure from the rest of the building so didn't feel very safe. Hallways also smelt strongly of smoke and reception required going down a flight of stairs with my suitcase. I ended up leaving and going elsewhere.

Staff were most welcoming and helpful. I stay regularly and Ox meets all my needs. Location is perfect

Clean room was nice, free wifi, and overall room was nice to be in, however shower had no cold tap, so it was only hot and no soap in dispensers, breakfast was lovely though!

Didnt experience the best 4/10...staff are of good service.

My heart sank upon entering the building and seeing the lifts/staircases condition, but the room itself was clean albeit basic and a bit bashed/marked. All the staff were super friendly, I slept well and breakfast was great. Good value.

no internet, room dirty, no air con, loud, hallways were disgusting and the whole place is just awfully run down
