This is our third time staying at the President. Staff, food and location excellent as always. However I did feel the tables in the restaurant etc were looking a little tired but definitely value for money

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was disappointing. The service from the staff was poor, and several issues made the room very uncomfortable. There was no air conditioning, and the windows could only be opened about 4 cm, which was far from enough in 30-degree heat. Instead, we were given an old fan with a service/check label from 2025. The room lighting was unpleasant, with different light colours and a very cold atmosphere. The Chromecast did not work and there was no internet connection on the TV. Someone was sent up to fix it, but he could not solve the problem, and no one followed up afterwards. There was also visible dust in the bathroom ventilation, the room door did not close properly so a lot of noise came in from outside, and there was no fridge in the room. Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations in terms of comfort, maintenance, or service.

Veldig fin beliggenhet, sentral og lett å komme seg rundt fra hotellet. Mange gode mat muligheter rett rundt hjørnet også. Frokosten var god, med standard utvalg og personal som var hyppig i opprydding. Det som trekker ned var at det var utrolig smalt på toalettet. Hvis du er en større person vil du nok også reagere på det. Det ble også veldig varmt på rommet. Vi fikk en vifte som hjalp litt, uten den hadde det ikke vært umulig å sove der.

Very disappointed with this hotel. Booked a twin room with 2 beds, the actual room layout was completely different from the pictures in the “select rooms” from Expedia’s website. There’s not even enough room to open our luggage. We have to lean one side of the luggage against the wall to have the other side of the luggage lay on the floor, and the opened luggage took all the space - it’s already touching the bed and the wall - we have to jump over to walk in the room… and we have to close up our luggage every morning - considering room services need to walk around the room to do their work. No air conditioning in the room. No air/fan circulation in the bathroom either… The windows can only be opened a little bit. Very uncomfortable staying in the room with the humidity level and the hot temperature. Woke up many times during sleep… Never had one night of good sleep. Breakfast is 17.5 pound per person - very expensive. Not worth the price. Would rather go to Pret next to the hotel for breakfast/brunch. No lobby or lounge in the hotel. Cleaning services was great though. Location was great - walking distance to British museum. Lots of restaurants around in walking distance. Train station is one block away. Liked the neighborhood. Not worth the price. Not a great staying experience for 7 nights.

NO AC!!!!!! Old towels Older hotel and too expensive for the price they offer. I would NOT stay here again

Mycket bra läge, bra engelsk frukost. Superbra läge. Holborn är ett trevligt område, gångavstånd till Covent Garden och vidare till Leicester Square. Mycket nära till t-bana, gångavstånd till St Pancreas tåg direkt till Gatwick.

Breakfast is very congested. Bacon very leathery. Sausages like rubber. Decent coffee

Excellent location, central, underground just around the corner. Staff extremely helpful, provided items we had forgotten to bring with us. Shout out to Yolanda, excellent customer service. Breakfast was delicious, lots of items to choose from. Would recommend a room away from the lift as can be noisy.

A executive type Hotel. Comfy bed, great bathroom/shower. Carpet around the room, but looks clean. Huge room BTW. Huge hotel. Close to subway Piccadilly line. Really close to king cross, walkable. Great option!

The location of this hotel is great. It’s 5 mins walk from Holborn and 20 mins from Kings Cross. The room was nice but very hot. The room had a fan but it was noisy and I couldn’t have it on at night. Also there’s work being done out the back of the hotel and this started at 8am making it difficult to have the window open.
