I had a okay experience here! I really loved the staff, restaurants, and amenities. They cater well for allergies. I really enjoyed their quick shopping section. My only concern is what rooms you book. I absolutely did not like the single rooms. It’s definitely older and needs updating, plus the elevator situation is not my favorite. There’s only 1 tiny elevator for all of floor 7. I did have an extreme unclean situation and they moved me rooms on the same floor that was still unsatisfactory. Thankfully, they moved me to a double bed room on the second floor, and it was night and day for cleanliness. I really appreciate the staff for being so supportive in moving rooms. If I could give a shout out for the desk clerk for her outstanding advocation to the upper hotel echelon, I totally would. Otherwise, I found the area safe for solo travelers. The restaurant and bar was fantastic. There’s nice places to eat, walk, drink all around. Close enough train stations (if you can walk). My biggest takeaway is to spend more for a double room. I find it safer and cleaner for solo travelers (especially if you are nervous or cautious traveling).

Very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, perfect placement in London, less than 5 minutes away from a Piccadilly line station. A bit old rooms when you take a close look, but still good and nicely cleaned. Sadly no AC, but a fan helped a bit during the summer heat. A bit of noise from outside the window from fans and construction work. Really comfortable bed and pillows, nice bathroom. Good wifi.

Great location - 20 minute walk from Kings Cross and Russell Square tube stop literally 2 minutes away. Hotel well kept and staff very friendly. Lovely bathroom and shower was great - in our room the toilet and rest of bathroom were separate. Only issue we had was how warm the rooms were (we only stayed for one night during heatwave but no air-con in the room and it got very hot and stuffy). Other than that a very pleasant stay

Good value for money, clean room, nice toiletries, helpful staff. great location within walking distance of many sights and local hospitals for visiting. Room could have been improved by air con and a small fridge as we were staying during a heatwave!

Two words: no air-conditioning. Expensive hotel and me and my partner burned, it was 35 degrees outside and the room only had a desk fan. Be prepared to suffer from the heat. Location and staff are good though.

Helpful staff, great location, very close to both Queen Square and Baker Street station. Comfortable, spotless room. Although no aircon in the rooms, there was a good large fan in the wardrobe which worked fine. Breakfast was delicious, although expensive (£17.50 on the door). It's as much as you can eat (definitely worth it, especially if you can get a deal when you book the room). I will definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone.

Hotel location is perfect. Excellent access to public transport with a gym nearby. Lots of restaurants and cafes close by. Beds were comfortable. Room size was decent. The only drawback was there was no Air conditioning! No where in the description does it say this! I expected it to have it. Perhaps London doesn’t need it during the night in summer but we were there end of June 2026 and temps were in the 30’s (°C) which made our sleep uncomfortable due to heat. Other than that, bathrooms were ok. Didn’t eat at hotel so can’t say anything. I personally wouldn’t stay again as I need my Air conditioning.

I am torn about how to rate my experience. The staff are lovely and kind & the location is brilliant. I also appreciated the nice bathroom & water bottle filling station in the lobby. When I discovered an outlet wasn’t working, they were quick to put in the request for fixing, but it kept me waiting for 50 min until they arrived to fix it when I was told it would be no longer than 20 min. The gentleman who fixed it was wonderful. The only real issue (which to me is a major one)… was that there that there wasn’t any air conditioning. Yes, they provide a fan, but it isn’t the same, and the windows only open slightly. It was July, and extremely stuffy. My 3 Star rating is based on the air … if I had air conditioning, I would have happily given higher. So if you do not care about air conditioning, then this is a GREAT spot!!! Again, staff were wonderful and you couldn’t ask for a better location.

Do noisy woken up every night with bottles etc being dumped in the bin outside our room no air con and the small fan was inadequate wouldn’t recommend this spot

Rooms are tired. Big chunks of wood missing from desks and the bathroom door was hanging off. Lobby was nice and modern but the rooms need some attention.
