The small room was quite packed but comfortable. The bathroom was not too clean and the draining system was not as good. Friendly staff. Good if you just want a bed.

Horrid. squalor of humanity crammed into overheated rooms with no respite

It was close to the subway and good pubs nearby and places to eat. But I arrived in a heatwave. And there was NO aircon or even any opening windows in the bunk rooms so we literally sweated all night even with fans. Was very hard to sleep in a pool of sweat. Also the bunks were clean, but very close together so impossible to even sit up in them. Felt a bit like coffins lol. Bathrooms were unisex and pretty icky, very dirty and rubbish and towels everywhere, loos were gross, pee on the seat etc, which unfortunately is what you get when sharing with males. Showers were hot and good pressure. The downstairs was nice decor but no food available until 9am so no breakfast, and only limited menu. Staff were okay, checking in was smooth. Couldn't give me an extra pillow although I asked nicely, and seemed pretty blase about hostel side of things. All up not the nicest hotel I've stayed in but ok if not in a heatwave.

The hotel staff culture and processing is terrible

The location is great with many bus and subway transportation options. The female staff that checked me in was so unfriendly to the point that it made me hesitate to go down to the pub for drinks. I did end up visiting the pub a few times and the other staff were fine. Expedia listed optional English breakfast for £9.9 but it was £11. The room was very crammed but fine for the price. The bed seemed clean but I got bug bites on my legs. I really hope they aren’t bedbug bites… There is only one light switch for the entire room of 12 with no individual bedside lighting. The lockers are pretty small and you need to bring your own lock or buy one from them. The bathrooms are not super nice but again, fine for the price. You may be uncomfortable as a female though bc the two bathrooms are gym type showers for both genders. The amount of showers was decent, but definitely not enough toilets and sinks for everyone staying. You have to bring your own towel or rent one for £5. The listing said they would have soap, shampoo, and hair dryers but they didn’t. The internet almost never worked. I ended up having to buy an extra eSIM bc of this. Overall it’s okay for the price and location, but I’ll look for somewhere else next time.

Great bar and clean room! Outstanding location

Escolhi esta opção p ficar perto do hotel dos meus amigos. É ok, bem calmo, não tem muitas opções p comer à noite, mas é seguro e perto do metro. O hostel fica em cima do pub. Pelo preço, eu não esperava muito, mas me arrependi pela economia. O quarto é muito apertado para tanta gente, as camas fazem barulho, os lockers são pequenos, mal tem espaço para tirar o sapato. O banheiro é a pior parte, haviam 3 quartos no andar, mas só 2 toiletes e 3 chuveiros, cuja agua de um box entrava no outro e certamente não eram limpos com frequencia, estavam muito sujos! Não troquei uma palavra com o staff, não são tão receptivos.

Sat and worked in the pub downstairs and had amazing beer for 3 nights straight. The pub is lively, and you dont feel like a solo/lonely traveler. They give coupons for drinks/snacks, and food as well. Very warm hospitality!

Unclean room

I felt really uncomfortable the whole night,the room was unbearably hot, and I had to sleep with 3 strange men as a lone woman, didn't feel very safe- I just couldn't wait to check out and leave. The bed was comfortable and clean.

トランクなど荷物を入れるゲージがとにかく小さい。 仕方ないから枕元に置いた。 ベッドに入ると室内照明が皆無に近いのでスマホのライトを利用した。 だめなところを挙げるときりがないが立地だけは申し分ないので寝に帰るだけの場所と割り切る分にはコスパとしては良いと思う。

Banheiros compartilhados infelizmente ficam sujos muito rápido, mas fazem a limpeza frequente.

I recommend it only. They need to make an effort in cleaning and the sound of music from the bars at night.

Very friendly staff

close to train station and 10 mins walk to The London eye and Big Ben! It is good but it’s too noisy at night time inside the bar and worst thing is needs to carry your luggage all the way to the second floor and male and female are shared bathroom, no privacy at all!

Its a hostel so wasn't expecting 5 star. I was there because i had an early start the next day in London and it was a cheap stop over. Staff was lovely. You get discount for food and drink in the pub downstairs. I was in a mixed dorm, this was ok. A little noisy in the night and im pretty sure at about 2am, someone decided to smoke weed at the other side of the room. I was up early so had to try and get about quietly so not to wake others.
