Clean room and very friendly staff who helped with directions

Radiator was hanging off wall when we arrived, the room was so cold! The radiator was on and was so noisy but wasn't warming up the room. The body wash dispenser in bathroom was empty.

Bar staff were very cheeky and unhelpful and refused to serve alcohol because we had a little bit of food at out table. Bedroom window was broken and couldn't close it due to handles being broken and dogs barking at 6am aswell

No heating in room, had to be given a portable heater. Hotel looks rather dated, ceiling in room had dark patches. Bar was contactless only which was a pain …cash is king !! Wouldn’t stay again .

Was in 103 room was above the ven so was very loud . . Also the bed was so hard

the rooms were ok need some tlc to them , no problem with the staff at all , booked for for 3 nights fri/sat/sun hade food in the so called restaurant which was very poor for the money paid . the bar area was ok and price fair . when booking it said entertainment over the 3 nights , this was a lovely singer who turned up late (not her fault) did 25 mins then went to another hotel on sat she did a whole 30 mins and nothing on Sunday and that was the entertainment . on the Sunday went out for a drive through the lights came back to the hotel to eat everything shut including the bar this was not mentioned when booking or at reception when checking in otherwise would have stayed some where else . on the whole it was poor for the type of hotel which in the past was a great place to stay not any more .

The room was grubby and the hotel needs a refurb. Painting peeling. Lift to small for my wheelchair. The room wasn't serviced, rubbish wasn't collected and it started to pile up. No fresh towels. Room was way to warm and had to get someone up to turn the radiator off. Curtains hanging off the rail. All in all terrible hotel and not what we were expecting

The staff were very lovely and professional, however the room was not what i expected and was very poor, however the shower was very clean and powerful so was a positive in an adequate stay.

Great memoies

After reading the reviews we nearly cancelled our stay to rebook somewhere else but we decided we just needed somewhere to shower and sleep. Thankfully we did. It was nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews we’d read. The rooms were basic but clean. Staff were lovely. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. We didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on that but over all we enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was dreadful, rubbish food with no selection. Total waste of money.. they didn't even have brown bread.

Staff were good room clean but the whole building needs updating. Games room poorly equipped

Warm room clean sheets but the place is very tired outdated and in real need of refurb . It states on ad hotel parking but nowhere available had to park on side street . Apathetic miserable staff not welcoming don’t think any of them even looked me in the eye . Would have been nice to have a warm hello on arrival after travelling a distance. When I left I was told just to chuck a key in the basket no good bye

Room too hot. Seaview room: while technically not a lie, it was a view out the side of the hotel and the “sea view” was not one you could appreciate in a natural body position.
