Perfect location, friendly staff. Everything was very clean. Decor was a little tired but this didn’t detract from a wonderful stay.

Fabulous stay at The Dolphin - lovely friendly staff, easy check in and such a gorgeous room with beautiful little touches. Super clean and super comfortable bed.

Lots of free hotel parking space. If sunny great afternoon drinking spot in sun. Lovely poached egg at breakfast, dog got a sausage. Room fine, seagulls bit noisy if window open.

The dolphin hotel - great value for money and excellent location with a 2 minute walk to the beach ! I came here with my partner and 2 dogs and we had a wonderful time the bar and restaurant has been refurbished and has a great atmosphere I was initially worried about he negative reviews but we found out it is now under new management, the staff were amazing and very welcoming and couldn't do more for you the rooms were basic but clean great selection of teas coffees biscuits ect replenished every day , we had a complimentary breakfast every morning which was lovely would definitely stay here again

A great 5 days. Room was nice - above the kitchens so a little loud at night but it did the job. The food was excellent - so much choice for breakfast!!! Really lovely place, especially with great weather so we enjoyed the pub garden!

Couldn't have been more helpful as I had mad a huge error on my booking. Staff remained very helpful and soon sorted out our room. Food is excellent, recommend booking the breakfast. Can't wait to come and stay again.

Friendly staff, comfy bed, great location.

Large spacious room, comfortable beds, small but modern bathroom, great setting and nice and quiet over night, free parking on site. Staff were very helpful with any of our questions, breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of variety and all for a very reasonable price. Will definitely return

Lovely place to stay clean friendly and good location

Beautifully renovated (approx May 25) with stunning new decor, great food, friendly staff and Beer itself is lovely.

I had one of the rooms that hadn’t been refurbished and my first impressions wasn’t great. There was condensation running down the windows upon check in, 3pm, the very transparent curtains were hanging off their runner, which I had to do a quick make do , by tying the hanging string around the track to save them from drooping! Plus my room was at the very back over looking the car park and a generator with an extremely frustrating hum kept me from having the sleep I desperately needed before my 5 hour drive home the next day! This all being said, I was refunded my money after stating the above. Will I return, probably not, due to once bitten, but they do do a mean sticky toffee pudding!! ☺️

Parking was so easy and the staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent - we enjoyed a vegetarian dinner.

Lovely rooms with gorgeous decor, super comfy beds and great extras. Windows did not shut so one room noisy from pub garden. The check in was bit disastrous and hard to find staff to check out. Breakfast given meat brekkie not veggie but was corrected. Ate dinner but not great would not eat there again.

The best option of a pub stay in Beer. Easy parking perhaps not so easy in high season? Nice breakfast room friendly staff

Parking was a small area, but we did manage to find a space. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good but we had to wait quite a long time to be served. The bedroom was lovely, very spacious, bed super comfy. Disappointed with bathroom very limited space, tiny sink.
