Excellent staff, great location, plenty of parking

Friendly staff, comfy bed, great location.

Large spacious room, comfortable beds, small but modern bathroom, great setting and nice and quiet over night, free parking on site. Staff were very helpful with any of our questions, breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of variety and all for a very reasonable price. Will definitely return

Lovely place to stay clean friendly and good location

Beautifully renovated (approx May 25) with stunning new decor, great food, friendly staff and Beer itself is lovely.

I had one of the rooms that hadn’t been refurbished and my first impressions wasn’t great. There was condensation running down the windows upon check in, 3pm, the very transparent curtains were hanging off their runner, which I had to do a quick make do , by tying the hanging string around the track to save them from drooping! Plus my room was at the very back over looking the car park and a generator with an extremely frustrating hum kept me from having the sleep I desperately needed before my 5 hour drive home the next day! This all being said, I was refunded my money after stating the above. Will I return, probably not, due to once bitten, but they do do a mean sticky toffee pudding!! ☺️

Parking was so easy and the staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent - we enjoyed a vegetarian dinner.

Lovely rooms with gorgeous decor, super comfy beds and great extras. Windows did not shut so one room noisy from pub garden. The check in was bit disastrous and hard to find staff to check out. Breakfast given meat brekkie not veggie but was corrected. Ate dinner but not great would not eat there again.

The best option of a pub stay in Beer. Easy parking perhaps not so easy in high season? Nice breakfast room friendly staff

Parking was a small area, but we did manage to find a space. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good but we had to wait quite a long time to be served. The bedroom was lovely, very spacious, bed super comfy. Disappointed with bathroom very limited space, tiny sink.

Staff superb. Food fab, bars brill, room adequate. Bathroom disappointing. Small and needed a refresh.

Very nice stay, value for money, but in our very small bedroom, the pokey en suite shower room had no place to put your toiletries and nowhere to hang up the towels, or toilet paper. Our bedroom faced the courtyard which was brightly lit all night, a blackout blind would have been nice. The hotel staff where very friendly and hotel location is superb and had plenty of parking.

The room was basic but fine although the quilt was very small, only covered the top of the bed and not the sides.

Upgraded to a superior room which was great. All very clean with great shower. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Good heating. Free car park. Bar area was also cosy. All the staff were lovely and friendly.

Best room ever that takes dogs. Huge bed, sooo comfortable and we slept so well.

Lovely stay but the photos made it look more luxurious than it was. However, for the price it was amazing. Our main gripe was the shower was terrible, I didn’t feel clean afterwards because just a light sprinkle. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing!! I really enjoyed the meals I had here. Would highly recommend
