I checked in just before 2pm so got complementary early checkin. The room was a delux room with king size bed. The bed was two singles put together which was really annoying as i woke up at one point stuck between the mattresses as one moved. The side lamp on the sideboard didnt work. The net curtains were not very clean and fraided. The bathroom is a nice size but the water pressure on the overhead shower wasnt great..in facr a huge disappointment. The sink wouldnt drain quickly so you had a pool of water that took an age to drain. The pressure in rhe toilet cistern wasnt great. Had to do a couplr of flushes. The second day i was there my room wasnt made up. I had to ask for fresh towels..come on this is a 5 star hotel!!!. Breakfast and the staff were on point, great service. Would i stay there again...No! I rate thid hotel as 3 stars, nothing special. I was in room 112 if housekeeping want to check the room. These things should have been reported before customers arrive.

Nice hotel but shocked by how much noise leaked from other rooms, especially in such a high quality hotel.

Really warm and welcoming check in from the super efficient staff. The room was excellent and spotlessly clean. Excellent location for shopping and eating out.

Clean room. Staff at front house was great as was room service. The girl who checked me in was fabulous and helped me with some passport photos and allowed me to use hotel pc which I needed. Thank you to you!!! Breakfast was great with made to cook dishes. Breakfast was handled welll too. The room itself was very spacious with great beds and great lighting everywhere !!!! I would stay again!!!

Staff very good, friendly & efficient. Breakfast great. Parked right outside and a short walk into the centre. Would stay again when visiting Manchester.

No hot water the day I arrived and through the evening. Unsatisfactory! Probably never recommend. The breakfast staff were great. Overall, I don’t know how it’s rated so high.

Massive room, friendly staff

Everything at this hotel is first class. Over the past few years what was a comfortable but rather tired 5 star hotel has been transformed into a modern and efficient city centre luxury hotel. We have stayed here many times over many years but the hotel is now far better than it ever was!
