Very spacious room, spotlessly clean as is the rest of the hotel. Staff where friendly and helpful. Great location with shops and resturants or takeaways with in a few steps. The river and park on your doorstep made for easy access to the medieval battle. Will be staying again.

The staff were very efficient. The room although a bit noisy, it was at the front of the hotel and we had the window open due to the heat, was well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities - extra sachets of coffee and milk are available at reception. Breakfast was cooked to order and was well worth the short wait.
All in all we could not rate the hotel more highly

Having stayed at the Northwick Arms before, the hotel was as expected. We like how close it is to the river and the town centre, enjoy the breakfast and the size of the room, all of which means we are likely to book again. We visited during one of this summer's heatwave, the air conditioning being of the mobile kind and had limited effect in bringing the room temperature down unless you were close to it.

There was a red coloured stain on the mattress of the bed,
The hot tap on the basin was very, very stiff to turn (impossible for my wife)
Receptionist (who was good) tried to remove the stain but it remained for the two days we were there. The hot tap could not be fixed until after our stay (maintenance don't work weekends)
Woodwork on several external windows peeling away badly at the entrance from the car park
Breakfast great (as were the staff at breakfast)

We booked two rooms and arrived early for check in. The lady was very helpful and this remained the theme for our stay. The staff are friendly and problem solving. The property is a short walk from the centra of Evesham and is over the road from the main park with the river running through it. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms were on the whole excellent, clean, comfortable, large bathrooms, secure. The only issue is that there is no aircon so it is really hot in the rooms and tricky to sleep. It is a listed building so there will not be any aircon in the future. Fans are provided but they are essentially just moving hot air around. This is worse if you get a superior double because the bed is on the mezzanine with a low ceiling.

Simple overnight stay to break up a long journey. The hotel was quiet and clean with very friendly, fussy free and helpful staff. Breakfast was good standard hotel offering. Room was hot and there's no AC but that's fair in a property of this age. There's no lift and so it was a struggle with a couple of heavy cases but it is just something people should be aware of and not put off by.

The places was not well equipped, with it being over 30 degrees- only a small fan was placed in room. The windows did not open fully.
No water placed in room knowing it was going to be hot. The outside needs update and not what the photos show.
Breakfast was nice but.

Vær opmærksom på at hotellet har en økonomi afdeling og en “luksus” afdeling. Der er meget stor forskel på værelserne. Vi fik først værelser i økonomi afdelingen. Der var intet på væggene, senge med gamle slidte madrasser. Døren på badeværelset hos mig, var skåret skævt. Så betalte vi for opgradering. Da fik vi helt almindeligt pænt værelse med nyere badeværelse.

Breakfast was excellent. The only poor thing was that, for a large, modern hotel, there was no lift for the elderly. The stairs were steep, narrow and curved with poor handrail support. It was difficult and painful to use. Parking was okay, except fot the fact that the disabled bays had lost most of the signage so that the fit and young were occupying these bays.

Ideally located opposite the River Avon,. Lovely outlook from the front of the property overlooking park and River Avon.
Check in was fine and plenty of parking to the rear. Old building which has been furnished nicely inside but could do with some external work to windows including cleaning of windows and frames. The room was adequate and the bed had a mattress protector but one of the pillows had three blood stains on which was quite concerning. The receptionist did apologise and said ti would be disposed of. Very thin duvet quilt and the old sash windows didn't block night noise so it was difficult to get to sleep. However, shower was fine and the breakfast was fresh and well cooked.

Very disappointed that the restaurant was closed.
Stairs up to the premium single rooms are not suitable for anyone with mobility problems as they turn sharply in 2 different directions.

Staff were friendly and breakfast area is pleasant. From the outside, the hotel looks a bit run down and the bathrooms could do with a refurb. The rooms are quite noisy facing the road with the traffic as the windows are old.
Overall, an okay stay but not great value for money.
