Staff were friendly and the people were courteous. The environment felt safe and everyone was eager to help.

The property is in a safe quiet location. It has an excellent fitness facility and nice areas to sit inside or outside when guests visit. There is a gorgeous view of the city from the top floor. The staff is very friendly and the manager is exceptional. He went way out of his way to take care of any issue immediately and to accommodate every request. The owner is also very friendly and made a special effort to make me feel welcome. The massage service is also very nice. This hotel is across the street from a private international hospital which is nice (just in case of emergency) and within walking distance to a COVID testing center. It’s also a very short drive to the airport and only took minutes to get there. I very much enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come again.

Tizeze Hotel is conveniently close to the Addis Ababa Airport. The hotel is modest and well-priced and the staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. Honestly, I received the best consideration and service from Bobby (guide/translator/host/new friend) and Kefyalew (driver/escort) than from any other location I traveled to. They saved my trip. During most of my time in Ethiopia (7 days), I was sick. I spent my first and last days in Addis Ababba. On the first day, I asked the front desk for a taxi to take me to a market in the late afternoon. They responded by sending for Bobby and arranging for him to take me around town and help me communicate in the shops. Upon my return to Addis Ababa, Bobby again joined me on a customized tour of the city. Kefyalew drove both days. He was very invested in sharing Ethiopian culture and experiences with me. He contributed to the itinerary and the timing. I highly recommend this dynamic duo to any travelers who want to guarantee they enjoy their time in Addis Ababa.
