The property is in a safe quiet location. It has an excellent fitness facility and nice areas to sit inside or outside when guests visit. There is a gorgeous view of the city from the top floor. The staff is very friendly and the manager is exceptional. He went way out of his way to take care of any issue immediately and to accommodate every request. The owner is also very friendly and made a special effort to make me feel welcome. The massage service is also very nice. This hotel is across the street from a private international hospital which is nice (just in case of emergency) and within walking distance to a COVID testing center. It’s also a very short drive to the airport and only took minutes to get there. I very much enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come again.

Tizeze Hotel is conveniently close to the Addis Ababa Airport. The hotel is modest and well-priced and the staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. Honestly, I received the best consideration and service from Bobby (guide/translator/host/new friend) and Kefyalew (driver/escort) than from any other location I traveled to. They saved my trip. During most of my time in Ethiopia (7 days), I was sick. I spent my first and last days in Addis Ababba. On the first day, I asked the front desk for a taxi to take me to a market in the late afternoon. They responded by sending for Bobby and arranging for him to take me around town and help me communicate in the shops. Upon my return to Addis Ababa, Bobby again joined me on a customized tour of the city. Kefyalew drove both days. He was very invested in sharing Ethiopian culture and experiences with me. He contributed to the itinerary and the timing. I highly recommend this dynamic duo to any travelers who want to guarantee they enjoy their time in Addis Ababa.

The bed sheets were stained. The room have not light. There were no heat nor water heater while the temperature was 52 degré F. The front desk could not find our reservation. She wanted us to call Expedia a 2am while we were exhausted, our flight was delayed for 4 hours. They finally let us in but we could not stand the room. We try another but they were all the same.

i like everything, nothing unique but i was really disappointed because I ask to drop me at the airport early to check in because we had transit to another airport but the driver was late and i missed my flight and wait for another 2 hours in the airport with my 2 little kids, my kids were so hungry because we already in the waiting area there is no food around there and also we had a hard time finding the hotel shuttle after 20 hours of flight, it took us about 15 minutes, no sign that show us the property of the hotel is waiting for us, finally, I ask his ID and got our hotel to get rest

The Tizeze picked us up from the airport and the driver waited the extra time while we struggled through immigration and baggage claim. Teh hotel was close and I was so thanksful it had an elevator. Beds were comfortable and staff was great. Highly recommend.

Staff at the hotel were VERY friendly and helpful. However, I spent a great deal of time explaining that I had actually paid already via Hotels.com (and that this was not Expedia!). Eventually, we had that sorted. There was a plug in heater in the room that was appreciated. A hairdryer was available from reception. I really appreciated the shuttle to/from the airport (but make sure that you advise that your times of arrival/departure are "international time", as Ethiopia has their own localised view on time reference (international time + 6). Great selection of local beers in hotel bar and the barman was very helpful in guiding choice!

I really appreciated the shuttle to/from the airport (but make sure that you advise that your times of arrival/departure are "international time", as Ethiopia has their own localised view on time reference (international time + 6). Great selection of local beers in hotel bar and the barman was very helpful in guiding choice!
