Very nice hotel, well placed and very helpful staff Thank you.

This is an excellent hotel and I would be happy to stay again. Two small issues: certain staff on reception are unwelcoming and the lighting in the room was dim, a pity because the room was beautifully decorated.

A really pleasant hotel in a great location (right next to the Opera and Bourse) and brilliantly located for the Christmas market, which was the purpose of our visit. Staff were very helpful and the room was clean with great facilities (once we'd worked out the shower puzzle). Our only complaint would be the service in "the View" bar. After being ignored on entry for a long time we were given a tour of the bar (with plenty of seats) then refused seating because there were only two of us.

Perfecte locatie. Mooie en schone kamer, badkamer en bed. Heerlijk en overvloedig ontbijt.

The room was outdated, and the carpets were worn and dirty. The toilet didn’t flush properly. On the plus side, the location was excellent. However, the hotel couldn’t accommodate an early check-in, so I had to wait exactly three hours.

The Coupole is by far one of the most prestigious rooms you can find in Europe, up till every detail of the room. Excellent and very kind reception service, which is difficult to find these days!!!

Central location. Near/ walking distance to attractions and eating establishments.

Liked the proximity to the Grand Place and other restaurants and shopping. Upscale hotel. Bed was comfy. One of the individuals at reception had very poor English but tried hard. Air Conditioning was not effective. One of the dresser drawers was broken and wouldn't close and then the handle broke off. Mosquitos in the room (second floor). Coffee maker only dispensed small volumes of coffee.

A return visit, having stayed here several times before.

Location of hotel is good and central. Disappointments are having to pay / hold 200Euros for our one night stay when room is fully paid for prior via Expedia. Staff with air of smugness stating its company policy ! This most certainly not published as part of hotel details when booking. They would not budge, and forced to pay it and then await the up to 7. -14 Days for them to return my monies which they took in seconds. Having stayed in numerous 4 and 5 star properties through Expedia, this is not common practice and certainly a first having to pay 200 Euros on top of the room price, so in essence paying double, so no 4 star service to justify these costs at all. Other hotels if they have to charge a preauthorisation, normally hold card details and if necessary charge a max 50 Euros to be refunded on check out all going well. 200 Euros must cover the overpriced mini bar in the room, which was avoided profusely. This property is in need of refurbishment, bit old and tired and perhaps 4 star standard needs to be revisited. These comments were shared with the staff upon check out too. Breakfast was good. Would I stay again, probably not.
