the room is marvelous。there is a separate sink to the pantry which is veey convenient。our room is facing the courtyard and the bathroom has a big window which is a big big bonus。front desk is helpful in booking restaurant and all staff are very friendly。defintely will revisit again next time to paris。

The room was clean and comfortable; the bed and kitchenette were fantastic and the toiletries were of high quality, but the room (and hotel in general) would benefit from improved signage. The staff were generally very helpful and friendly, but this was let down significantly by their poor response to complaints - specifically when we reported that the pool was extremely cold and all but unusable, there was no apology or explanation of what would be done to fix it, despite this being one of the key attractions for this hotel. The area the hotel is in is quiet and away from the main tourist areas; ideal if you want less busy bakeries and restaurants.

Beautifully designed hotel, with friendly staff and a vibrant (and not too touristy) neighbourhood. I've stayed in Le Ballu before and think it's now become where I most like to stay in Paris. It's very walkable to, for example, Opera or Montmartre and has a direct metro line to the Notre Dame area, so it's very well located while also being a bit away from the tourist crush. The rooms are absolutely beautiful - an oasis of calm.

Very clean and service was very good!

Room, hotel lobby and dining area are extremely nice. Attractions are walkable and local transportation is close. The staff were always helpful.

The area around the hotel is quite nice. The room was extremely small. There was literally no space to open up a luggage. Also, the staff did not offer any help to take the luggage to our room, while there was an extra set of stairs for us to get to our room and there was no ramp.

Staff at front desk weee awesome. Nice location. Nice room. Convenient restaurant and bar. Pool and sauna.

Boa localização; hotel bonito; funcionários cordiais( nem todos). Quarto pequeno - quase não cabe a mala e o lugar disponível para as roupas é extremamente pequeno. Café da manhã com pouquíssimas opções ( servido na mesa, sem buffet e não condizente com hotel 5 estrelas)

Emplacement ideal. Tout est accessible a pied incluant d’excellents restos dans le 9e. Personnel tres accueillant qui fait tout pour vous faire apprecier votre sejour. Particulierement Michael, a la reception. Merci pour tes conseils!

Excellent food and location, but small rooms, only to be expected in a boutique hotel. Would happily book again.

Average hotel. Definitely NOT a 5-star. Attentive staff, but we had some issues. The bathroom door locked from the outside, leaving us without a bathroom in our room. We had to use the bathroom in another room on the same floor until the next day. The night shift worker is very kind and diligent in resolving issues, but the hotel offers no facilities. No room service at night, even though the menu suggests it. The room is tiny; I wouldn't have stayed there if the hotel hadn't kindly provided a room with a balcony. Dirty room! LOTS of dust on the furniture, especially the higher-up furniture. It certainly hadn't been cleaned in months. I wouldn't stay there again. It's not a 5-star hotel, but a 3- or 4-star hotel. It was a trip with several destinations in 5-star hotels, and this one, along with another in Marseille, were the worst (France, obviously).

This is a beautiful hotel on a pretty, quiet street in an interesting area of Paris. Everyone was very nice and we quire enjoyed our stay. Our room was reasonably large by European standards, and quite well appointed. The courtyard bar/restaurant is very attractive and a wonderful place to have a glass of wine or a nice desert. Great value.
