J’y suis allé au mois d’octobre, il faisait 7° à Caen. J’ai demandé du chauffage dans la chambre et ils m’ont dit qu’ils n’avaient pas encore mis en chauffe l’hôtel pour un Ibis je trouve ça un peu honteux.

The room was quite small, with very little unpacking space (no drawers), so we largely lived out of our suitcases for the three days we were there.
We came back in the middle of the first day to find the doors were locked: a sign on the door told us that access was via reception of the hotel next door. On making our way through the dimly-lit ground floor public areas, we discovered no electricity anywhere in the hotel, so of course, the lift was out of order. Using the stairs wasn't a problem for us, but it would have been for someone with disabilities or with small children. Possibly this was due to a local issue, but we never found out. Though we didn't have any repeat of the power problem, we did come back to find the front doors locked a second time, with reception in the dark and unstaffed. In general, there was a feeling that it was all very Spartan and understaffed.
Housekeeping service was excellent.
