One of our favorite hotels ever. Amazing eating and drinking options in and around the hotel. Comfy beds. Really nice shower. Room was a little small but to be expected in the heart of a city. Ultimately we loved it. Walkable to everything.

Centrally located, just right next to the HB Beer House. I was lucky to be allocated a room at the corner facing the beer house. The room is not spacious but just manage to open 2 big suitcases. Minibar is free of charge and hotel.com also offered us a bottle of wine upon checking-in. Could bring your wine and consume at lobby bar.
Receptionists are sincere with smiles on the faces always. They were super helpful and offered us for lots assistance. Highly recommended. Worth to pay high room charge for brilliant service.

AC is vrtually NONE it's freaking 33C outside, the wifi sucks, if you live above 2fl you have NO to little Wifi reception, and my room is Euro 580 per night.....go figure

Platzl Hotel is in the perfect location for our Oktoberfest Adventure. In the heart of Old Town Munich, it is easy walking to many top destinations. Only a short walk to the Marienplatz subway station, then a few minutes ride to the fest grounds. The staff was very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. If we come back, this is where we are staying!
