My wife and I stayed here while on our honeymoon and were thoroughly impressed with the absurd attention of the staff and hotel. The hotel provided us with an arrangement of desserts and a handwritten note to congratulate us -- a small act that went a long way to making Platz Hotel our favourite stay during our two-week long honeymoon. Almost everything about my stay was perfect. The hotel is lovely, the location is amazing and the room was spacious and very comfortable. The only down side was the noise from the Hofbrauhaus. It's great that it's so close to the hotel but the noise coming from there was really loud and it was impossible to sleep until at least midnight. I even tried earplugs to no avail. Perhaps the hotel needs to upgrade the windows on that side? Otherwise, I can't say enough positive things about this hotel and the staff and would definitely stay there again, in a different wing of the hotel.
