This hotel has a lot going for it. It’s very conveniently located for exploring central Athens. It’s in a good area with lots of restaurant choices nearby. It’s own rooftop restaurant and bar has fabulous views of the Acropolis. All the staff were always very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast buffet is extensive and definitely worth it. Downside was that our room (a standard room), felt a bit tired and functional. Didn’t feel like a room you looked forward to coming back to. But certainly okay for a short stay in Athens.

First the staff were very welcoming. The room was exactly what I needed. It was close to everything, clean, and just overall a good experience

Staff from arrival were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is centrally located in tourist area and felt safe walking back to at night. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had anywhere I’ve stayed. Room was very clean and the patio was bigger than expected. The view from the rooftop bar is one of the best in the city. It was hard to leave when we had to check out. The staff had become like family. The manager at the front desk went out of her way every single day to make sure we were enjoying our visit and help with whatever we needed. Next time I’m in Athens I’ll be looking forward to staying here again.

The rooftop restaurant/bar was really nice and the view of the Parthenon was fantastic. The gal who was our server was the BEST…very nice and very helpful.

Let me preface by saying that the staff was absolutely amazing, especially the woman working the front desk. On the other hand, the facilities themselves are heavily outdated. Cracks in the floors, shower was disgusting, hairs from previous guests, etc. It is located very close to the Acropolis and a whole stretch of restaurants and shops which was great. For the price I paid, sorry but I would not recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was nice and modern, location was great, and the rooftop restaurant had a lovely view of the Acropolis. The breakfast was good enough. Would stay again.

Bed super comfy, rooms very nice size and bathroom no issues. Hotel security was good with key codes to get into the room areas. Rooftop bar was really nice views and the Barman was nice to make mocktails when not on the menu. He even made sure it was nice and any issues with it. Front desk helpful with metro and taxis. Good location for most of the tourist sites and metro line.

I had an amazing stay at Acropolis Select Hotel. The location is fantastic—about a 10–15 minute walk to many of Athens’ top sights—so I skipped Ubers/taxis and explored on foot. The staff were exceptionally professional and helpful, offering the kind of warm Greek hospitality that makes you feel truly welcome. I even received a welcome drink at check-in, and a complimentary bottle of wine in my room—such a thoughtful touch. My room was spotless and comfortable, and the rooftop terrace with its stunning Acropolis view was the perfect place to unwind. For the location, service, and overall experience, this was money well spent. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Athens.

What a charming hotel with great rooftop restaurant, outstanding service, terrific location and charm. A true find.

Amazing service, breakfast and location!

We stayed here for two nights. Great location with a 10 min walk to the Acropolis which is the reason we booked the hotel. On the first night the drain on the bathroom floor that was connected to the sink was overflowing from the sink’s usage. The staff was unable to fix it at the moment because their technician wasn’t available until the next morning. They also did not have any other rooms available. We placed towels to cover the drain and had to use the sink carefully so it was a bit inconvenient especially with a toddler. The technician did visit us in the afternoon however we had to leave for our tour so we refused the service. Regardless we managed with the towels and everything else was great. The staff is friendly.

Pics are a bit deceived. Facility and room are a bit dated. Positive: short walk to museum, Acropolis South entrance, shopping, and restaurants. Staffs are great.

Great service. Great room and size

The front lobby staff were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here and our balcony. The breakfast on the rooptop was perfect.
