They put me inside a handicap room. The sink is very small and you cannot wash anything. There is no counter top so you cannot put anything close to the sink. The water drain is very slow so the whole bathroom floor is always wet. The toilet bowl is so also very small.

Accomodating and very professional and friendly staffs, indeed a home away from home. Many thanks Ibis Hongkong Central and Sheung Wan staff.

It is a basic 3 star hotel. The room is rather rundown and don't expect any expectations. Room size is acceptable and the price is very reasonable. Convenient to transit.

Convenience

Beautiful views from our room. Very clean and well put together. Blackout curtains helped with jet lag. Internet was a bit patchy. Bed was very hard which helped with back pain but may be a lot for people with different preferences. Check in and out were seamless. Location is perfect for taking public transit and lots of things in walking distance. Enjoyed our brief stay!

Interior of property is a bit outdated but overall the room is clean. There’s daily room cleaning service along with water dispenser and luggage scale on lobby floor which are convenient. Area is convenient, walkable distance to tram and subway. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay on the Hong Kong Island side.

There is a wide selection for breakfast and everything is excellent!! The staff is very helpful!👌

The lobby is on the 5th floor. There are signs showing to take the elevator to the lobby. You have to use the room card to gain assess to the other floors. Filtered water fountain and weight scale for your luggage are available at the lobby. Transportation wise, the old tram runs outside the hotel. It is a great way to travel if time permits. MTR entrance is within 10 minutes. Airport bus stop is close by. Taking the airport bus would be the easiest way to get to the hotel. There are lots of shops around but majority of them are selling Chinese dry goods for cooking. It does have a 7/11 store nearby. It is not a tourist area. The streets around the hotel are clean. You will have a glimpse of local daily life.

I enjoyed the great staff service and exceptional breakfast buffet. I would have liked to see my room/bathroom cleaner and hand soap provided.

Good

The hotel is situated just a 5 minute walk from the Macau Ferry Terminal. It is very close to shopping, restaurants and money exchanges as well as the Central MTR. If you like to walk, you can walk all the way to the Victoria Peak tram, just a 30 minute walk. The rooms are well sized for Hong Kong and our room had a beautiful view of the Hong Kong Harbour. The shower, however, has some spots of mold and our night light would not work even with a power adapter plugged in. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the doorman.

Normally dont write reviews but i optioned go cx my previous hotel and booked ibis hotel in sheung wan after a bad experience and im so glad i did! It was spacious, new and clean. Got the breakfast buffet included as well which i rec to save money! Not too far from sheung wan station or the airport bus. Easy access to get to mainland HK as well. Lots of great local restaurants near by as well. Will stay again!

It was reasonable price and good to stay for the business trip especially Art Basel Hong Kong. Staffs were very kind and considerable. I am highly recommended this hotel.

Provide a nice room to see the Victoria harbor. Covinient location to reach bus stops and trams.

Its a budget hotel so thats what you get. Airconditioner was like a jet taking of when it cut in, could hear the lifts operating all night and the breakfast was very average
