The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. We opted for the breakfast which did not disappoint as there were lots of great options for the family.

Belle chambre standard. Le personnel est agréable, disponible. L'happy hour au salon, un plus ! Le petit déjeuner copieux et varié. La salle peut être un peu petite mais nous avons trouvé une table qui nous convenait. Le jacuzzi sans bulle et bien chaud... c'est l'essentiel.

Excellent staff, beautiful rooms, amenities. Not cheap but really wonderful quality. Would recommend pre-booking with the breakfast - there aren’t ANY restaurants open before 11AM within an hour of the hotel, and adding it on later is expensive.

The check-in staff was polite and swift. Our rooms Ocean View has a big glass window, thus the room was warm. The staff was quick to bring a fan. Over the night the room cool down.

10/10 stay at the fosshotel glacier lagoon!

Wonderful stay in a stunning location. The hotel is modern, clean, and beautifully designed, with comfortable rooms and amazing views of Icelandic nature. Unfortunately our room was facing to the parking lot and at ground level so we couldn’t enjoy the views this time (it was our second time staying there). The staff were very kind, friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. We had our anniversary dinner at the restaurant and our host offered us the best table and bubbly wine. Servers were very knowledgeable and kind. Food was delicious. The location is perfect for visiting Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. After a long day of exploring, the peaceful atmosphere and relaxing hot tubs made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone traveling along the South Coast of Iceland.

Nicely appointed room (great high ceilings) and bathroom. Careful when showering as water gets sprayed everywhere as it is essentially a wet room. We were on the mountain and parking lot side. Unless you are going to be in your room a lot I am not sure the up charge for the ocean view is worth it. Would stay here again. Enjoyed the hot tub but not the long trek down to it and the sauna. They provide bathrobes but still felt weird trooping through the lobby and bar in a wet bathing suit and shoes. There is nothing around the hotel other than a nice cafe south of the hotel but it closes at 5pm. Restaurant was very expensive and fortunately we had eaten at the cafe prior to check in. Hot tub was nice after a long day. Sauna was full so didn’t use it. For the size of the property maybe they need to expand that. Oh and the name is a little deceiving as the Glacier Lagoon is still a 30 minute drive away. Highly recommend the puffin tour with Einar.

Amazing view from our room. It had a cute tiny "personal" window next to one of the beds. Even in snowy stormy weather the view was moody and breathtaking.

Der Check-In hat gut funktioniert, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, der Spabereich ist super mit Aussicht auf das Meer, hier konnte man gut entspannen. Das Frühstück sehr lecker, die Tische etwas klein und die Teeauswahl auf Schwarz- und Grüntee beschränkt. Die Matratze war sehr weich, das Zimmer super mit Aussicht auf die Berge und um die Ecke auf den Wasserfall.
