Very cute and quiet hotel by the lake. Very relaxing. The only problem is carrying luggages. We stayed in the lower lever, and there were around 10 steps to walk down. If you happen to have big luggage like us, might be a good idea request the upper level house.

The hotel was definitely the best hotel while I was staying in Iceland. The hotel room is independant house where you enjoy the updated Netflix and fast Wifi services. The backyard is share use where you can access by just simply open your door.
The problem is the car park and the room is about 10 to 20 m( depend on which room you are). If you have bulky luggage you should be careful because I experience the snowy weather and the floor is crazy slippery.

This was our favorite hotel in Iceland. The views are spectacular and the cottages are just beautiful, great design, quality and spacious. The breakfast has definitely room for improvement, the dinner was not so great. (premium ingredients but lacking flavors). The personal was professional and friendly. Thank You for our stay.

The individual cabins look like monopoly houses from the outside, but the full wall of windows inside offers a fantastic view of the surrounding area. Inside are modern furnishings. The restaurant in the reception house offered a delicious dinner, and the buffet breakfast the next morning was great.

Delightful property with amazing views out onto lakes, Icelandic ponies and scenery.
Restaurant had great choices allowing guests to choose cheaper options or something a bit more special. I chose a bit more special and it was delicious and well presented.
Staff are friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend.
Our heated towel rail was marked out of order which was a bit disappointing so hope the hotel can get this fixed for next guest.

Amazing place. Cabin was clean, spacious and nicely appointed. Lots of space travel items. Bed was really comfortable. Restaurant was great and staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Easy access to Highway 1 and nearby sights. Great stay!

Magma was beautiful and my favorite hotel I stayed at in Iceland. The view from our room was gorgeous. The room was stylish and comfortable. I wish I was there for a few more nights!
