Super hotel, clean, modern, quaint and lovely staff… a unique experience

The room was fantastic and utterly quiet. A great view and just what was needed in such a special location. Cosy and clean.

This was our favorite hotel in Iceland. The views are spectacular and the cottages are just beautiful, great design, quality and spacious. The breakfast has definitely room for improvement, the dinner was not so great. (premium ingredients but lacking flavors). The personal was professional and friendly. Thank You for our stay.

Great place

The individual cabins look like monopoly houses from the outside, but the full wall of windows inside offers a fantastic view of the surrounding area. Inside are modern furnishings. The restaurant in the reception house offered a delicious dinner, and the buffet breakfast the next morning was great.

Delightful property with amazing views out onto lakes, Icelandic ponies and scenery. Restaurant had great choices allowing guests to choose cheaper options or something a bit more special. I chose a bit more special and it was delicious and well presented. Staff are friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend. Our heated towel rail was marked out of order which was a bit disappointing so hope the hotel can get this fixed for next guest.

Amazing place. Cabin was clean, spacious and nicely appointed. Lots of space travel items. Bed was really comfortable. Restaurant was great and staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Easy access to Highway 1 and nearby sights. Great stay!

The property is located in a quiet and beautiful area. It was very relaxing.

Best hotel we had on the trip!

Very nice and quiet place. Staff very nice. Food for breakfast ok, but not great. Dinner pretty nice. Nice view. Clean and in good condition.

Magma was beautiful and my favorite hotel I stayed at in Iceland. The view from our room was gorgeous. The room was stylish and comfortable. I wish I was there for a few more nights!

Property is well maintained with clean and spacious cabins .

There was nothing about this property that we did not like. From the quiet location, to the quality of the food at dinner and breakfast, to the cleanliness and amenities of the room, to the views outside our window and our own patio area of the immediate countryside and beyond. Our stay was truly wonderful and we were only sorry it was for one night as we were on a tour of the ring road. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Absolutely loved it.

The Magma Hotel was very nice and in a great location, however, I feel like it wasn't a great value for my money comparable to the other places I stayed during our time in Iceland. Additionally, their website lists laundry service yet it doesn't exist. This amenity is one of the main reasons i selected this hotel so it was disappointing to discover that it was no longer available. All that being said, the staff were all quite friendly the view from oir cottage over the pond was wonderful!

This hotel is everything you want, good room, excellent shower pressure, beautiful views, good breakfast, excellent WiFi, parking right in front. I cannot recommend a hotel more than the Magma Hotel.
