I researched many hotels in Kolkata before choosing the Hyatt Regency, and I’m so glad I did. Considering the price, luxury, service, and safety — everything here is truly above the top. The hotel is very neat and clean, and the atmosphere feels both elegant and comfortable.
Their breakfast is phenomenal, offering great variety and quality. The location is also convenient — not far from the international airport, which makes travel easy

Very clean. Amazing staff who is so efficient and responsive. Made our kids feel so special. Every request was completed in 5 min. The biggest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel.
The food was amazing! The options on the "limited midnight menu" were more than most American hotels have on their full menu. The food arrived hot and fresh. Warning: they include salad and bread with the order so it'll definitely will be a lot of food. Portions are so generous. We had Maacher jhol and kosha mangsho for our first meal back in Kolkata after 10 years after coming off a 24h journey. What a treat!

Rooms are a little old - for the room rate I would think we would have better room decor and more modern. Room thermostat had no heating option - cool or off! Breakfast spread was good but service was slow. Dinner options - need more continental options.
