Lovely stay for a few days to relax before a family wedding.

Had a wonderful 5 night stay with my family at Abbazzia Collemedio we had a friendly welcome and 2 connecting rooms which was perfect the room were clean, spacious, lovely shower and the rooms were not hot, we didn’t have to use the air conditioning in august! The beds were too hard for me though. We arrived at 3pm and even though lunch had finished they were very accommodating and offered us paninis at the pool bar. The hotel was quiet, pool wasn’t too cold and we had the most beautiful views and sunsets. Took advantage of a massage which was very nice. The only downside was the service at the restaurant during our evening meal it was very slow (I know you shouldnt rush an Italian!) and pretty sure we were forgotten as other people had their meals before us and came in after us, the food was ok we had better meals and because of the service we were put off eating in the restaurant as it was also quite expensive. We ate in other local places for lunch and dinner apart from our second to last night we had the local steak which was delicious.

The location is stunning – absolutely worth the view. The road to get here, however, is in very poor condition. The pool area is beautiful, and the gym exceeded expectations with amazing views and a much higher standard than the photos suggested. Wi-Fi in the room worked poorly, and the pool bar’s lunch/after 2 pm food offering was frankly a joke – where’s the pride in Italian cuisine when you serve nothing remotely close to the real thing? We stayed for three nights, and while the service wasn’t anything special and there were no particular highlights, I could see myself coming back someday.

Fantastic relaxing and peaceful stay. We stayed at Abbazia for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary and we did not want to leave. Our stay was absolutely wonderful; the rooms are wonderful and the staff our so accommodating and friendly. The spa prices were very reasonable and I was impressed at the variety and quality of the many treatments they had on offer. The food was delicious with a different menu every day and dinner in the restaurant with the view of the Umbrian hills at sunset was beautiful. The two pool areas were clean and we enjoyed a very peaceful few days of sunbathing. I do recommend hiring a car for your stay as the prices of transfers or taxis are staggering (as taxis have to come from Assisi or Folignio) or if you plan to travel to any of the neighboring towns like Assisi, Montefalco or Perugia which are about 28 mins from the hotel by car. We definitely can’t wait to return soon and stay for even longer next time. Grazie mille bellissima Abbazia Collemedio!

Ottima struttura, personale molto disponibile e attenzione ai dettagli. Ideale per chi cerca un po’ di relax in piscina ma con la possibilità di visitare città storiche a poca distanza. Caldamente consigliato!

Bellissima struttura immersa nel verde con due piscine molto belle. L’unico appunto costruttivo riguarda la cucina non in linea con il resto. Spero migliori

Ottima soluzione per visitare l'Umbria e godere di una ospitalità di gusto antico e raffinato. Immersi nella pace e nel silenzio di un vecchio convento, mirabilmente riadattato per esaudire le più moderne esigenze del viaggiatore dei nostri tempi.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa splendida struttura,ex abbazia risalente al 1200, perché eravamo alla ricerca di un WE di relax e.. l'abbiamo trovato. Tutto il personale è stato gentile e professionale, in particolare la signora Rachele che ci ha accompagnato per una visita della struttura prima di mostrarci la camera. La suite era fantastica, molto ampia ed arredata con gusto.Abbiamo testato diversi servizi dell'hotel , come aperitivo al tramonto nel giardino presso la piscina, la SPA, piccola ma elegante. Fantastica la vista sulla valle che si godeva dalla jacuzzu. Molto bello anche il ristorante, dove abbiamo gustato un ottima cena a base di piatti tipici della cucina umbra. Infine la colazione servita a buffet molto varia e con prodotti di alta qualità. Ci ritorneremo in estate per goderci le splendide piscine.

This is a piece of paradise located in the lovely Umbrian countryside, yet still close to major routes and sights. Excellent service and amenities. Front desk was always very helpful.

Beautiful hotel & location, friendly staff downside you need a car to make the most of the area.

Posto esclusivo e confortevole, rilassante , ottima posizione, ottima accoglienza, ottima piscina. Da migliorare la "cucina" piatti tipicamente invernali (Cinghiale, porchetta, risotto al sottobosco, etc.) tutto di modesta qualità.

Nice area with parking on the property. Pool time till 7pm (should be till 9pm) Small windows in the room.

We were in the preseason and therefore not that busy. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff is friendly. We got a free room upgrade and it was great! Super spacious with even a double shower. But we had to go down 2 stairs (no elevator). You need a car to see something of the surroundings and this will be worthwhile! One downside: we were not impressed with the kitchen. breakfast and dinner were disappointing.

Een historische goed verscholen hide-out zou ik het noemen, dit klooster uit de 12e eeuw. Prachtig verbouwd en opgeknapt, mooie buitenzwembaden, wellness en fitness dik in orde. Vriendelijk en efficiënt personeel, ontbijtbuffet rijkelijk voorzien, kamers prima... alleen het restaurant voor avondeten net wat te prijzig voor wat te weinig culinaire kwaliteit!
