The location is excellent. The staff are excellent, very helpful and welcoming. View of Etna sunrise and sunset, with cocktails (Taormina) should not be missed. Hotel has old school charm. Room was comfortable with great views. Breakfast is very good with a wide choice of food.

Air conditioning was very dated and seemed pretty weak- and it wasn’t that hot when we stayed there in early October. Also TVs were small for room size and the streaming services didn’t really work effectively because of limitations of the WiFi system.
