convenient location, nice staff and good breakfast

The location is very close to San Marco and is very convenient to visit most historic buildings. The room is very very small. Front desk service is very friendly.

位置绝佳，有个小露台临水，我家三口喜欢在这儿看风景，听贡多拉上传来的优美的歌声。服务人员很敬业，态度友好。房间很小，但空间利用的非常好，干净，有情调。很赞！可惜的是早餐的地方太狭窄了，而且不能换盘子。唉，寸土寸金的威尼斯！

Location, breakfast and staff were all great!

Excelent place in Venice, close to San Marco Plaza, easy access to transportation. The front desk young lady, Francesca, is a great asset. Decent breakfast, many places to eat and shop around.

Locatie is perfect. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Ontbijtbuffet uitgebreider dan verwacht. Medewerkers zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Il personale è stato meraviglioso; l'addetto notturno si è persino impegnato ad accompagnarmi personalmente in hotel quando mi sono perso a Venezia, cercando di arrivare dopo le 23:00. La camera era pulitissima, ma il riscaldamento non funzionava molto bene: l'ultima mattina l'aria condizionata era praticamente a dirotto. E a tarda notte non c'era più acqua calda, solo tiepida. Quindi è stato un soggiorno piacevole, ma anche freddo. Il letto era perfettamente pulito, ma troppo duro per i miei gusti.

We cannot say enough good things about Hotel Becher. The staff are extraordinary and so helpful. We left yesterday for another hotel and already greatly regret our decision. We will be back to Hotel Becher, no doubt ♥️

Stayed there over 10 years ago and would continue to go back. Location and staff are an A+. My only disappointment was the mattresses are very firm for this old man. Still if we ever make it back to Venice, it will be at the Hotel Becher.

The hotel is older and the furniture reminded me of my childhood bedroom set. I could open my window and basically look the gondolier in the eyes, which was kinda cool. At night though boats came and went pretty late and people were yelling and singing so it was a little loud. Once I got to sleep though it quieted down and I slept well. The bed was REALLY HARD. The location was in the middle of everything, restaurants and shopping everywhere, 5-10 minutes walk to everything. Breakfast was plentiful and you got as many made-to-order coffees as you could drink, which was nice. The breakfast room was quite small, but it did make for good conversation with other diners. The staff was top notch and helped with your every need and spoke very good English. There's a 24 hour desk, and that make it nice too. They arranged a pick up from right next to the train station by boat to the dock of the hotel so we didn't have to drag our bags across the cobbled streets and over bridges hoping we were going the right direction (google maps looses reception between buildings sometimes). They also arranged a boat to take us to the airport at 4 AM and both rides were timely...not cheap but VERY convenient. It was a very nice stay. The people were great and communicated well throughout the trip, thank you!

This is a great option for nice hotel close to St Mark's square. It's right on canal and we were able to get water taxi service to hotel from train station and to the airport for departure. Service was great! The room was a little warm and no AC since its Oct so they brought me a fan and that worked out great! Only negative is the bed was too hard for me, but that's just my personal preference.
