lovely hotel with lovely staff and soooo convenient for getting around.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Mary from Sicily was a super star. The cuisine in the hotel is average. Menu items very salty and not enjoyable. Prefer tableclothes on tables for dinner service. Dining room in general needs upgrading. Ivan, the new manager, seems to be the person with the knowledge and experience to make this happen. Overall I would return to this hotel. I was disappointed to see a beautiful city ruined by graffiti.

Great location perfect dealing distance to everything !

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Corona d'Oro. The location is excellent and the property itself is even better. We stayed in the suite and it was absolutely perfect. We were given a tour by the manager, who was just the loveliest. Was truly impressed with the room and the amenities within it. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Great hotel, really helpful staff and central location

I booked our stay 6 months before our arrival. The photographs on the website look delightful. The lobby was delightful. The staff was delightful. The one they brought us to our room. It was tiny, tiny, tiny. Rather disappointed

Very centrally located.

This hotel is super nice and beautiful. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are well appointed. I only complaint was that there was no indication of how to reach the front desk or the restaurant but other than that it was perfection and I highly recommend.

The hotel is in a fantastic location and the room was very comfortable. Unfortunately we had a cold shower on both days we were there. I reported it after the first day and was told maybe it was due to lots of people using the shower at the same time. It was clear to us that the mixer valve was broken as there was hot water in the basin tap and moving the mixer valve made no difference to the temperature. At check out I was told no one else had complained so they didn’t believe me there was a problem. They didn’t offer any compensation until as asked and then they gave be 10% off one of the nights - clearly a sign they didn’t believe me. Shame as the hotel itself is nice and the girl who checked us in couldn’t have been more helpful. Coffee at the bar next door to the hotel was amazing.

Hotel Corona D’Oro was the perfect place to stay when visiting Bologna. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were very clean, and the staff was extremely accommodating. We will be staying here the next time we are in Bologna.

I stayed at this hotel for a very short time, but I was incredibly impressed. Everything about it exudes nobility, elegance, and exceptional quality. The hotel truly feels like a royal palace. The staff were attentive, professional, and provided outstanding service. The food was excellent, and every detail reflected extraordinary refinement. I was extremely satisfied with my stay, and I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Cristian for his exceptional assistance. When I return to Bologna, this hotel will undoubtedly be my first choice.

Despite the small size of the room, we had a wonderful experience always supported by friendly and knowledgeable staff. We love Bologna!
