Hotel is in a very convenient location. Property is charming and very well kept. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The only complaint that was quickly resolved had to do with heating. According to the staff the city had not allowed to turn on heat to certain rooms in the hotel. A space heater was promptly provided and the issue was resolved. We were in room 445 and on certain nights the noise from the street was very loud late into the night. Due to the historic aspect of the property, the windows are not soundproofed. Otherwise, everything else was great!

My stay was great. The hotel was centrally located, and having breakfast made for easy mornings. If you choose to stay here, please remember you are in the main tourist center. It was a little loud at night. Nothing too crazy, but louder than I expected.

Hotel is in a very convenient location. Property is charming and very well kept. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The only complaint that was quickly resolved had to do with heating. According to the staff the city had not allowed to turn on heat to certain rooms in the hotel. A space heater was promptly provided and the issue was resolved. We were in room 445 and on certain nights the noise from the street was very loud late into the night. Due to the historic aspect of the property, the windows are not soundproofed. Otherwise, everything else was great!

Muito bem localizado a equipe bastante disponível para auxílio , mas o hotel precisando de manutenção . No check in nós colocaram em um quarto sem janela , imediatamente solicitei troca e fomos atendidos , mas ficar em um quarto sem janela é algo inaceitável.

Old hotel so had to go up a couple flights of stairs with no elevator but a porter met us at the elevator unexpectedly to carry them up.
Good location close to the train station and easy walking to all of the high activity areas but not on a busy street itself, so that was nice.
Front desk gentleman ran the show and was great!

Our stay was part of a two week Europe trip, 6 countries 10 cities. This was probably our favorite hotel. It is in a former palace and our room a former room in the palace. Since our trip was historical/cultural focused, this room checked all the boxes. Not only was our room beautiful, huge and historic, our floor is also known to be haunted but a historic figure.
I got sick during the trip and the hotel was so helpful in giving recommendations for a Doctor to come to my room.

The bedroom was stunning, huge and magnificent and full of history. Breakfast buffet was fine. No bar or restaurant but plenty nearby. Reception staff very helpful.
