Hotel Rodes has a great location and an ok pool. But that’s where it ends. The standard in the hotel is quite bad. The rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. And the breakfast is a sad story. We have also found a silverfish in the bathroom. But all of that could be disregarded if the staff was friendly. There is one extremely rude woman working in the restaurant. She was very rude during check in and during our breakfast. We will for sure never come back. The price was 300 euros per night, which was ridiculously overpriced for what you get.

The staff were wonderful. Their English was limited, but if you were patient then they were. We ate dinner there our first night and it was fabulous. Breakfast was great. They provided a bus pass to the city using #172. But you could use other South Tyrol buses with the pass. We were able to use bus# 350 back to Bolzano.

Foi incrível. O quarto é confortável, café da manhã excelente, bem localizado, tranquilo. A senhora que ficava auxiliando no café da manhã é um amor de pessoa. Não perguntei o nome dela.

The location is very close to the Ortisei main town and is walkable. The neighborhood is very quiet and on a meadow overlooking the other Chalets on the Alpine meadows. The staff is also very warm and welcoming.

The hotel was very walkable to the city center only a 20 minute walk. Overall quiet and good overall breakfast option.

Quiet place to stay when wanting to explore ortizei.

Bello, accogliente!

Albergo accogliente, pulito e comodo. Colazione a buffet varia e buona. Spa e piscina ben tenute. Vicinanza alle piste da sci e al centro di Ortisei.

Room was boiling, no A/C, had to sleep with window open, which was impossible as it’s sooo noisy- the hotel is located right on the main road.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und das Shuttle zur Bergbahn Seceda war sehr praktisch. Das Hotel ist sehr schön, leider alte Bausubstanz, durch die einfach verglasten Fenster zog es etwas (aktuell Winter). Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr gut. Vom Hotel in die Fußgängerzone St. Ulrich ca. 20 Minuten Fußweg. Wir sind nur eine Nacht geblieben, konnten also Sauna und Schwimmbad nicht testen, sah von außen aber sehr gut aus. Skidepot sehr praktisch. Sehr gerne wieder, dann vielleicht sogar längerer Aufenthalt.

Nice hotel with a bus stop out front, shuttle some days, and a pool/sauna/hammam. Although we enjoyed the hotel, it's important to note it's a bit outside the city so requires a 15-20min walk in or scheduling with the bus outside, otherwise, great for apre-ski and the night sky.
