這間旅館規定，只要出門，房門鑰匙要交給櫃檯再離開。 ———————————————————————————————————— 狀況一： 1月30日晚上，當我們夫妻倆在房間休息、聊天時，響起敲門聲，我老婆回了一聲，但房門馬上被打開（五秒內） 門口站著一位女性員工，她說因為外面下雨，所以要進來看看窗戶有沒有關好...... 這真是令人傻眼！ 幸好因為天冷，所以我們夫妻身上還穿著貼身的衛生衣褲， 也沒有正在進行什麼親密的舉動 我們沒出門，房門鑰匙沒給櫃檯，員工要進房前，不能先確認一下嗎？ 原本想向櫃檯人員抗議，結果，今天當班的正是那位闖入的女員工，向她投訴她嗎？ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 狀況二： 隔天因退房時間是12：00，因此我們先到附近逛逛（行李仍在房間內），大約11：20回旅館，打算做最後收拾後準時退房，一走到門口，看見房門大開，清潔人員正在打掃、浴室還有工人在修馬桶。 這下可好，我們只能呆呆的等清潔人員擺著臭險走人、工人修好馬桶後，才能開始打包整理行李。 住過那麼多旅館，這還是頭一遭在退房前，客人行李都還在房間的情況下，清潔人員進屋收拾打掃。 不知道到底在急什麼？我們退房手續都還沒辦！ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 即使旅館地點再好，餐食再美味、衛生條件佳， ★★如果旅館無法獲得保障房客的隱私，那還有什麼值得信賴呢？

Keep up this good work. We had a great time in Rome and our stay in Hotel Scalinata di Spagna had a huge part of it!

Location was convenient by the Spanish steps and a metro. Free breakfast was good and plentiful. Room was small and some of the front desk staff was abit rude to other guests. Paid extra for room with a terrace however the Terrance was inside the building in the hall outside our room with 3 tables I guess for the other rooms also on our floor they should specify that in the description. The room was clean and location good

Personale gentile e disponibile. Posizione centralissima. Camera curata.

Location was perfect for walking to sights, shopping and dining. The private balcony made it feel extra special and made us feel a real part of Roma. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Breakfast got our day off to a great start. We are excited about planning our next stay here.

The room was small but charming and always clean. The staff were great and helpful anytime we had questions for them. Overall, a great place that we will revisit for sure.

Location is excellent, excellent service and cozy facilities

The room was in good condition and the staff was very nice and helpful... The big surprise is there is no elevator.... The staff did help bring luggage up the stairs which is a big help. The rooms are small and narrow, and the bathroom is about like that on 40 foot boat. Very small and narrow... but, everything worked!

⚠️ WARNING: Do NOT stay at this hotel — total scam! If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This place tried to scam me by claiming I broke the TV after I checked out, even though everything was perfectly fine when I left. They clearly try to pull this trick on guests to charge extra money. Absolutely unbelievable and completely dishonest. On top of that, the hotel was not clean at all — dirty room, bathroom not properly sanitized, and overall terrible maintenance. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from this place. There are plenty of other hotels that respect their guests and don’t try to steal money with fake damages.

It's 4.5 star, nearing 5 star. for 6 nights a.) great service from the check in gentleman who was excited to tell us of the upgrade - to the annex building = only 4 stairs for my mom. b.) thanks for the complimentary spumanti which we didn't finish. c.) upgrade gave us a view of far way St. Peter's + Vittorio Emmanuelle Bldg. It was a daily greeting d.) Thank you to the cleaning staff especially to Claire when my mom mentioned the toilet seat cover wasn't in place. e.) excellent breakfast - big variety. My mom loved the breakfast and wanted to go back for the last leg of our trip. f.) clean rooms g.) super comfortable bed h.) loved we had a fridge, thanks for the four drinking water took out 1/2 star because a.) My mom lost her footing because of the ONE step after the bathroom space onto the sleeping space. Thankfully she didn't break her neck - maybe need a night light or just have a flat level bedroom b.) not enough light by the desk - I had to work while travelling and I booked this hotel because of the desk space. c.) we only had two set of slippers for 6 nights. We had to ask for 2nd set. d.) There were only two mugs, maybe add two more glasses. e.) when I asked about going up from the piazza level of the Spanish Steps to the Trinita Del Monte level I asked if there was the elevator and no stairs. There were 31 steps after the Metro Elevator There were alternate ways to go up to the hotel - but if you're calves cry - think of the view. Thank you.

This hotel is only a 2 minute walk from the Spanish steps and walking distance to all the major attractions, shops, and eateries. The entire hotel staff was friendly and the free breakfast is very good! Housekeeping did a fantastic job cleaning are room daily while on vacation.

Staff was wonderful and prompt! Room with balcony overlooking the square was fantastic and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. Breakfast was great and many dining options in area. We had a cooking class with the chef and it was a wonderful experience! Can not say enough positive about this hotel!
