This is a clean, well appointed and centrally located hotel. While the rooms could be a little bigger, the location near the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori makes it an excellent choice for a visit to Rome. The staff was uniformly helpful, and the breakfast was included within the room rate. I would book a stay in this hotel again.

Fantastico

Great location, hotel, breakfast, and service. Room was tiny but very clean and well decorated. Next time, I would stay here but never again in the "annex" or in a room over the street. It was unbearably noisy above a late night bar with drunken revelers talking, singing, and shouting until 2am.

Un super séjour à Rome, très bon accueil et bon confort de la chambre : le personnel très agréable et professionnel, le petit déjeuner excellent et le bar du roof top très appréciable. Je recommande vraiment cet établissement.

Extremely helpful staff, good location, comfortable and modern rooms

We will always come back to the Hotel Smeraldo. The rooms are so comfortable and clean. Breakfast is delicious, and the staff is very helpful. It’s also centrally located, which makes it easy to walk everywhere.

We loved everything. The location, the breakfast, the rooms. I could go on and on. Bottom line is that we’ll always stay there when we go to Rome .

La habitación es muy pequeña! Pague por una categoría más arriba de la más pequeña y la habitación que tuve media igual 8mts2, lo mismo que la medida de la habitación más pequeña que aparecía en la página.. pregunté al recepcionista si no había tenido algún error y me dijeron que esa era la habitación correcta, entonces significa que tienen mal la medida en descripción de la página.

Il personale dell’hotel Smeraldo è stato molto disponibile e gentile. In particolare Pierpaolo, che ci ha dato ottimi consigli su zone da visitare al di fuori delle principali aree turistiche, e Giorgio, che ci ha aiutato a chiamare l’ambulanza quando mio marito ha avuto un improvviso attacco di calcoli biliari. Grazie mille! La colazione era davvero buona, con sia dolce che salato. Molto apprezzato anche il fatto che al mattino si potesse avere un vero cappuccino.

Fantastic location with amazing staff at reception! Would highly recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my hotel stay. I was in a single bed room and though it was small it was the perfect size for one person. It was clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. The only thing that may be a problem for others is you could hear everything going on outside and through the walls. I am heavy sleeper so it wasn’t an issue for me. The location is great. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go easily and there are great food options near the hotel. I would stay here again when I visit Rome again.
