We will always come back to the Hotel Smeraldo. The rooms are so comfortable and clean. Breakfast is delicious, and the staff is very helpful. It’s also centrally located, which makes it easy to walk everywhere.

Great location, hotel, breakfast, and service. Room was tiny but very clean and well decorated. Next time, I would stay here but never again in the "annex" or in a room over the street. It was unbearably noisy above a late night bar with drunken revelers talking, singing, and shouting until 2am.

I really enjoyed my hotel stay. I was in a single bed room and though it was small it was the perfect size for one person. It was clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. The only thing that may be a problem for others is you could hear everything going on outside and through the walls. I am heavy sleeper so it wasn’t an issue for me. The location is great. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go easily and there are great food options near the hotel. I would stay here again when I visit Rome again.

Incredible stay at this property. From the moment I arrived I was enthusiastically greeted by the front desk, given all of the information I needed and was given a room. The room was clean, and spacious with very comfortable bedding. The breakfast in the morning was top notch with an excellent selection of tasty food. The front desk staff greeted me by name when I came down and asked how my stay was. While walking out of my room even the house keeping staff asked how I slept, if I ate breakfast and how my overall stay was. Truly felt like a family and not a business.

My second time staying here - the staff are incredible, nothing is too much trouble, I was even personally escorted to a nearby restaurant on my first night as it was late. I had a “solo traveler” room with a balcony and it was perfect, the bed was comfy (a queen size) the shower was fantastic and the balcony was the perfect spot to chill. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and caters to all tastes, the pastries from Riscioli are so good and the coffee cannot be beaten. The location is superb with Campo di Fiori, Piazza Navona and The Pantheon within 15 minutes (maximum) walking distance, beautiful side streets, restaurants on the doorstep and everywhere felt safe and welcoming - can’t wait to return here and to the beautiful city of Roma

Clean room and bath; breakfast room impressive; efficient staff; good location. The only setback is our room is too small and pricey. We can hardly move around our room for 4 nights. Grateful that the bed and beddings were clean and comfy.
