Skip the buffet if you’re looking for a continental breakfast option. At ¥3300, it was pricey for a coffee and a few slices of thick cut bacon. Like most of Japan, tourism is not really geared towards westerners- which is fine, just do your research ahead of time and find one of the many off-site options in the area.

We had a very pleasant stay in this centrally located hotel, which still offered a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The highlight was definitely the rooftop pool, which offered a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The onsen and sauna facilities were also very enjoyable and added to the relaxing experience. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beppu.

We visited Beppu for the Onsen and were not disappointed - this was a great part of our trip. The rooftop pool had fantastic views but wasn't quite warm enough for the time of year/level of wind. The rooftop hot tub was a bath, which was little odd. Room was comfortable, maybe a little dated. Hotel services were great - breakfast, welcome drinks, and complementary yukatas. We found enough places to eat round the hotel also.

This property is dirty. The room we stayed in had dust balls in the corners and dust on the window sills. The bathroom was covered in black mold. The smell was horrendous. I reported the mold to the staff. I asked to be relocated. They said they were unable to accommodate. The staff was unfriendly. Extremely disappointed. I would not recommend staying here, especially for the price.

Hotel was clean and close to Beppu station. Lot's of dinning options. The staff was very helpful. The only thing we find difficult was the design of the room. It was a small room but that's not the issue. The bed was wall to wall on a platform. One has to crawl to the end of the bed to get off the bed. As an older person, I found it very awkward. Other than that the hotel was very nice.

The rooftop pool was spectacular. The hot springs were nice. The hotel is modern and nicely renovated. The general cleanliness of the rooms and halls was lacking. The rooms themselves had low end fixtures and showers etc. The staff was friendly and spoke many languages.

Staff are patient and friendly
Though not sure why the bath tub stopper not working in my room .. as I’m only staying 1 night so did not check with staff regarding this

Beautiful hotel with a great roof top pool and large onsen. Drink alcohol all afternoon for 1,000 yen. I have already suggested this hotel to others visiting Beppu in the near future.

Hybrid room, memory foam beds and classic futon beds on tatami mats. Roomy, excellent ofuro/shower room. Easy to walk around and catch buses, 3 min walk to Beppu station.
