The spa hotel is surprisingly quiet despite being situated right across Kokura station. The amenities were top notch.

Great stop for a late night check in coming off the ferry from Tokyo. Walking a few minutes from the station.

I've stayed at this hotel several times while on business in Kokura. Im usually very satisfied as this hotel is in a very convenient location with easy public parking just across the road. Unfortunately this time I was assigned a smoking room on a smoking floor. I don't smoke, so the odor was overpowering. Additionally, there was an ongoing party or other loud disturbance on the same floor, which prevented me from getting much sleep. Not happy.

Space bigger

The hotel facilities and room, as well as the staff were excellent, however i am not a fan of the new trend amongst budget hotels using self check-in electronic kiosks . There are always one or two staff assisting guests using these machines, so why arent those staff just behind the front desk greeting guest in the "old fashioned way"?

For a one night business trip, this hotel is perfect. Inexpensive yet very conveniently located just in front of Kokura station, with plenty of dining choices within an easy walk. The room was comfortable, clean and large enough for my needs. (Just a place to sleep and relax a bit in the morning).

A typical business hotel - clean, efficient and good value. Two very minor issues - the property is located at the 'rear' side of the station, so if arriving by train, be careful to take the right exit otherwise you may end up walking around in circles to find it. Also, the check-in is via automated self-serve screen and while there is always someone to help, can be a little confusing to anyone using this system for the first time.

Close to station, sites, shopping and restaurants

Good overall, very clean, convenient and reasonably priced. Only criticism is that the curtains in the room were not heavy enough to block out the morning light and the bed faced the window, so this could be an issue for people who are not early risers.

I had a double room for myself. Small but comfortable. The bathroom was very small for my 6'2" frame. But having lived and worked in Japan, im used to not fitting in.

Very clean but unfortunately they had renovation in process! Needed earplugs sometimes

Close to JR station and good breakfast . I used to stay at APA .

If you ignore the books in the rooms touting revisionist Korean-Japanese history (claiming Japanese colonialism was good for Korea), this is a nice hotel.

Room temperature was too hot, air conditioner did not cool the room. Spent an uncomfortable night

Good choice, especially for me that need the english customer service during check in and check out.

It was very smooth to check in. It had everything we wanted.

Standard Japanese hotel: good value for the price and very close to train station which was important for our schedule
