Vey spacious room and I like the old school type of hotel but updated with modern service. The room has all amenities you need. Definitely value fir money

We had a very pleasant stay. The Japanese garden was well maintained and it was a pleasant morning walk.

Can't fault this hotel. Very good in all respects. Very comfortable room with good views and space for the whole family. Superb bathroom with Japanese style washing area. Enjoyed the pool. Breakfast buffet very good in lovely room overlooking exquisite Japanese gardens. Service impeccable. Beautifully refurbished since our last stay while preserving most of its classic Japanese modernism. The area seems more vibrant too. Wish we'd booked another night.

Old classic hotel with a beautiful garden. Service is good. Three minutes walk to subway. Located in a quiet area.

Everything was great. If traveling in summer you can walk indoors inside the hotel and get within 400 yards of the subway entrance Akasaka-mitsuke or Nagatacho. Do not follow google maps walking directions to either of these entrances. Stay in the hotel all the way to the end. This hotel is very close to all the action via the subway or taxis. Concierge was helpful in advance of our arrival with diner reservations, baseball game, and more. The room I stayed in had the wood bath and king bed. It was very spacious for Japan. Wife and I did not fell cramped at all bathroom had two sinks. Very nice walk in closet. The hotel is slightly dated, but it didn't matter to me.

The Hotel New Otani is beautiful and upscale. The gardens are amazing! Be sure to set aside an hour to enjoy the plants and tranquil water. The staff provide the highest level of service. Most speak English. It’s not near the tourist sites, but there’s a metro station nearby and taxis. We stayed at a downtown hotel on our way out of Japan, and I didn’t prefer one location over the other. The beds are VERY hard. Very. It’s normal for Japan, but if you want “American soft” beds, choose a Western brand. The rooms are spacious with nice bathroom facilities. They are generous with toiletries, and the soaps smell great. Try the face cream and lotion. There are many options for food on the lower levels. We liked Tully’s Coffee for breakfast. The main restaurant offers breakfast as well. I really enjoyed the pizza restaurant, which is tucked around a corner. They have pizza, noodle bowls, and gorgeous desserts. It’s their best kept secret! The Currency Exchange is located in the post office. It’s only open until 5:00 pm. There are exchange machines all over Tokyo—we didn’t have any trouble finding one. We felt safe getting money and carrying cash.

The lodging facility was wonderful. It was safe, clean, and provided friendly service. The location is great, with only a five (5) minute walk to train stations. I would stay here again!

The staff were all so nice and answered any questions to the best of their ability. Huge plus that they had taxis on standby all through the day at the entrance of the hotel!

A solid choice with some room for improvement. The breakfast is somewhat below par and the pool does not open until 10 AM. Also, the sky bar closes at 9 PM. That said, very comfortable and friendly staff.
