RE HOTEL 梅田

Property was clean and in close proximity to stations.

The hotel was good but it was near a bar/restaurant area. The area is over all safe but if you were a single lady heading back at late night, just take necessary precaution.

Staff was excellent, very helpful.

Amazing staff, they didn't clean the room in the 2 night stay of ours. Prostitutes kept coming and going with different men.

Good sized clean rooms with traditional bathroom setup. Quiet area still within walking distance of good food options.

It is almost 1 km away from the station so be prepared to walk! The hotel is more dated than the pics. It rained so I wish I choose a hotel closer to the train.

Party of three adults, stayed for 2 nights in June. Hotel is an easy walk to Japan Rail and local subway stations. The neighborhood offers plenty of restaurant alternatives on the street or at the train station. Room was very nice and offered enough space for 3 adults with backpacks. Osaka is a great base for a day trip to Nara.

The photos make the hotel appear much more updated and welcoming than in reality! The location is in a backstreet, making it rather hard to find, and is not convenient to a subway station (at least 10 minute walk to the closest station, which, with luggage, is not ideal). The property itself has a similar feel to a motel, and our room had a view overlooking a cemetery (which was clearly not included in the property description). We had just come from Kyoto where we stayed in a hotel that had the same 3-star rating as Sonezaki, but that property was amazing - clean, modern, comfortable, safe, convenient and cost less. I would not recommend anyone to stay in Sonezaki unless you have no other options.

About 7/8 minutes walk from Umeda station. Market nearby is convenient. Room was clean. Don't expect much English from hotel staff.

The lady at the reception was kind enough to give us a bigger room as she said that our original room (which had a double bed meant for two) would not be able to fit our luggage - problem is, we only had one carry on suitcase so I was quite surprised to hear that. I’m really not sure how I would’ve reacted if we had been given our “original room”. The “bigger room” was quite snug as well - we could barely lay out suitcase open on the floor as well. The pillows were quite terrible but everything else was great - the bathroom was well designed and space efficient - the place was quiet and peaceful - and the staff members were pleasant. Shower was awful, the shower head was not adjustable with the water firing at you horizontally. Also, the shower had two settings, a fine mist or rapid jet spray. Most unpleasant shower ever!

Big room with bath facilities.

Newer hotel not far from subway stations , good size room. Stayed for 2 nights, my complaint was both nights at around 8 pm , the smell from the area restaurant would somehow get into my room? It was bad! They seem to be aware of the issue.

This is a very good hotel...just be aware that the shower and tub is Japanese style...otherwise you have to shower with a spray in the tub without a shower curtain. The toilet and wash basin are in separate areas. Nice and clean room. Excellent location about 10min walk to Osaka station. Professional staff...with dress coats.

This place is really expensive for what you get! The shower wasn’t working perfectly and the beds were unconfortable. They barely speak english
