幡谷樱花酒店

Loved the area, and more importantly the staff were just wonderful. They helped us communicate with local businesses for reservations due to language barriers and also provided us with some great dining recommendations. The area was so quiet and chill. A perfect place to stay to escape a little bit of the noise in Tokyo and feel embraced by a local, authentic energy.

I have been staying in this property at least once every I visit Japan. This place is really conveniently placed near a train station with access to Shinjuku and a walkable distance to Yoyogi. The prices are just right and friendly staff.

They did offer some deals that was exclusive that made it unique like a discounted tour and a dinning option where you made your own sushi.

Really nice hotel for the price, the manager is really nice man who made us feel very welcome & resolved a problem we had with our room instantly. The rooms are generally small but we didn’t spend much time there. There is the Hatagaya station literally round the corner from the hotel & easy links to the main parts of Tokyo. A lovely bakery on the main rd where we picked up bakery items for lunch, hotel has a laundry area which was handy. I would recommend this hotel.

It was a convenient place to stay.

The hotel is situated in a nice and quiet area only 2 train stops from Shinjuku station. The staff is very friendly. There is a free breakfast and they provide shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the room. We found a very nice walk near by , it has a lot of cherry blossoms. The room was very small , it was tricky with 2 large suitcases and ceilings are very low. It is a bit old but very clean and only 2 plugs in the room. There is a warning when showering as the steam can trigger fire alarm.

Communication with staff in English was good. The continental breakfast was good. Location to train was 2 minutes away. Restaurant onsite and lots nearby.

The staff was so nice, had a great location and decent size room, train station was close and took us anywhere we needed to go!

Small hotel with everything that you need. Stayed April 3-5 with my 3 sisters. The bunk beds were comfy, clean sheets and towels. I love that they provide you with robes, slippers, in addition to all toiletries and you have a small fridge, coffee pot, microwave, etc. there’s a mini mart a few steps outside. The breakfast, although it’s just tea/coffee and bread with soup of the day, it’s sufficient to get you started. The staff though very little English are super nice and helpful. Everything was clean and proper. I would stay again.

We stayed at Sakura Hotel because it was close to Shimokotizawa (vintage shopping). It was a quiet neighbourhood, not too far from the station. Easy to find. Please note that the breakfast that is included is just bread/toast and soup. Didn’t mind considering the price of our stay. Simple hotel. Small rooms, similar to every other Tokyo hotel. Everything you need while you explore the city.

A nice place to stay that is quiet but close to transportation

Our stay at this hotel was okay however we found it to be very dirty, the carpet was stained, the curtains were stained and it looked like it had not been cleaned. The bed was really hard when asking the night staff for an extra pillow they refused; the guy who was working on March/23/2025 was rude and not welcoming, he had little to no customer service skills. As well, it's on a separate line that you have to pay extra to get into the central part of the city. Not worth it- book a different hotel.

The staff was amazing, but the room was tiny. Two people couldn’t pass each other between the bed and the desk, or even in the hallway!

The staff was very pleasant and went above and beyond my expectations to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. I really enjoyed my stay here.

excellent place to stay. the room I stayed in was a little dated but clean. same as many others who travel to Japan, my friends an I spent very little time in the room anyway. the location was excellent. very short walk to the station and just a few minutes to major stations which is clutch when your trying to get back late night after walking 18 miles in a single day. there's breakfast downstairs and several great alternatives nearby. would stay there again.

Nice traditional hotel experience. Beds were a little uncomfortable being so close to the ground but that was given it was more for the experience. Close to transport and convenience store which was handy. Free simple breakfast was also an extra.
