Note breakfast is just toast and jam with a daily soup, ok place to stay as long as you are spending a lot of time around. Fine for the time I stayed. Probably better experience with friends or others around

Good for the money. Excellent location and access to the other parts of the city.

The hotel is OK for the price range, if you're only staying for a couple days in Tokyo. Pros: - It is located blocks away from Yanaka Ginza street, great traditional spot to go get some souvenirs, textiles and street food. - 2 subway stations nearby at a walkable distance (5-10 min). - The reservation includes daily simple breakfast (pretty much toasts, coffee and tea). - While hotel has shared bathrooms, there are plenty of showers on each floor, so you don't have to worry about waiting. Cons: - The wifi service is poor and unstable, they have lots of connections, but none of them actually works, except the one on the café. - When nobody is at the front desk, it can take a while for someone from the staff to come by. - While staying, I needed to make an international phone call to contact my bank, and after explaining the situation to the guy at the front desk, he was rude and said he wouldn't let me use their phone as it would be too expensive, even though I told him I'd pay for the charges.

Okay accommodation for the price paid. Room is small but I think it’s common for Japan

The staff and service was excellent but unfortunately the room itself was underwhelming. In the traditional Japanese room, there was no space except for the futons. The tatami mats were very uncomfortable and the closet was also very small, it was just cramped in general. The toast during the morning breakfast was delicious though.

Had a wonderful time staying at the Sakura Hotel for my honeymoon. Great staff, amazing food, and fantastic service. 10/10 all around

Small room but comfortable bed, clean shared washrooms, Separate toilet for man and women. Only soup, bread and coffee for the breakfast.

The hotel is very good location but is too small, restrooms they where public areas the restaurant was very good

It was nice to see the front desk open 24 hours a day. Their kitchen was also open 24 hours.

Highly Recommend. Near shops, bus ant train stations.

I don't like the shared toilet n poor breakfast

The rooms are a fantastic size and over sized if you’re travelling solo like I was. The property is starting to look a little dated in many areas but not to say they are all dirty, they could use an update. The only issue I found was a small amount of mould growing on the door to the balcony.

2nd time here. Staff super friendly. Close to the best bakery in Japan. Hitotema Bakery.

It’s a non-friendly walking distance and the room is smell abit off. It is quite annoying if your room smell life some guy’s wet shoes.

Not what was expected. Rooms looked nothing like the original photos. Laundry facilities were broken for most of our stay. Staff were very friendly though.

Hard to find but big sign pointing towards the hotel. Only toast, coffee, tea, and soup for breakfast, soup was really good. Can’t give more than 3.5 stars.
