Incredible experience

Severin Sea Lodge is a lovely beachfront property with clean rooms and great dining options — the breakfast and dinner buffet offered plenty of variety and tasted great. I really enjoyed the environment and overall atmosphere. My only negative experience was the check-in process, which took almost an hour due to limited staffing at night. Also, the reception area could use fans for guests, especially while waiting. If those issues are improved, this would easily be a 5-star experience

Everything was great except the wifi kept kicking off

Really enjoyed our stay here. The whole place is very atmospheric with beautiful grounds and friendly staff. The beach could be cleaned up from seaweed but the pools are lovely. Live music nightly with reasonable drink prices. Swahili lesson was great and other activities are offered.

I spent 4 nights there on holiday. I enjoyed the traditional look of the hotel, the security, and the overall experience of the hotel itself was amazing.

Only partial ocean view, mostly blocked by the palm trees. Breakfast is mediocre. The staff and room were outstanding!

Severin was amazing and deserves the full 5 star rating. The staff are attentive and entertaining everyday was something to look forward too. The rooms are cleaned daily and replenished with fresh sheets, towels, soaps and bottled water . Currently it seems like a lot of construction work is taking place in Mombasa so from the moment we left Moi International Airport it’s basically a construction site.

Magnificent garden, warmly team, excellent seafood restaurant in a superbly restored boat. Breakfast with a lot of choices. Far more authentik than many other hotels in this area. I strongly recommend.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The breakfast buffet was great. It is conveniently located on the beach so we had easy access. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Everything was fantastic. The food at the evening buffet was excellent and I am not easily impressed. Both the variety and the quality was 5 star. The room and grounds were beautiful. And the staff were the best ive experienced anywhere in the world, and i travel extensively.
