Severin Sea Lodge

I spent 4 nights there on holiday. I enjoyed the traditional look of the hotel, the security, and the overall experience of the hotel itself was amazing.

Only partial ocean view, mostly blocked by the palm trees. Breakfast is mediocre. The staff and room were outstanding!

Severin was amazing and deserves the full 5 star rating. The staff are attentive and entertaining everyday was something to look forward too. The rooms are cleaned daily and replenished with fresh sheets, towels, soaps and bottled water . Currently it seems like a lot of construction work is taking place in Mombasa so from the moment we left Moi International Airport it’s basically a construction site.

Magnificent garden, warmly team, excellent seafood restaurant in a superbly restored boat. Breakfast with a lot of choices. Far more authentik than many other hotels in this area. I strongly recommend.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The breakfast buffet was great. It is conveniently located on the beach so we had easy access. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Excellent services and friendly staff. Very personable and always reaching out to help. “No problem” is the phrase as they solve your request.

Everything was fantastic. The food at the evening buffet was excellent and I am not easily impressed. Both the variety and the quality was 5 star. The room and grounds were beautiful. And the staff were the best ive experienced anywhere in the world, and i travel extensively.

The property is nice I

This property is incredible and the food is delicious. Beautiful sunsets right on the beach.

the property and service is great. the only draw back is the terrible traffic due to the road construction. If you are coming from the airport Nyali is not a nice drive due to the construction that just doesn't seem to improve.

We had booked a standard room, when we got to the room, we were shocked at the state of the room. We felt tricked. When we complained, we payed to upgrade to a room which was better but there were several other issues that left a bad taste in our mouths

The property was absolutely beautiful. It was truly a living paradise. They kept the grounds and the pool very well maintained. They service the rooms daily, if you request it, meaning fresh linen on a daily basis. The property was absolutely perfect. However, it paled in comparison to the staff. The staff went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home. They honestly didn't seem to be able to do enough for you. My fiancé and I, at one point, we're having a conversation about how they made us, just she and I, feel special. We knew (and could see) they treated everyone the same, but we still felt as if we were being singled out as their favorite couple. Severin Sea Lodge was the perfect location for our vacation, but the staff gave us a home. To the staff, I just want to say, Thank You for a perfect three weeks!

Meine Mutter und ich haben insgesamt vier Nächte in der Severin Sea Lodge verbracht und waren mehr als zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Deluxe-Zimmer mit Blick auf den Garten und den Pool. Die gesamte Anlage ist nicht allzu groß, sodass man sich schnell zurechtfindet. Es ist ein sehr ruhiges Hotel mit wenig Unterhaltung in der Umgebung – perfekt für alle, die einen entspannten Urlaub suchen. Jeden Abend gab es Live-Musik, die wir sehr genossen haben. Der Blick auf das Meer vom Garten aus, umgeben von üppig grünen Palmen und Bäumen, war atemberaubend. Das Meer war angenehm warm. Die Beach Boys haben uns nicht allzu sehr gestört und wir haben es uns nerviger vorgestellt – sie akzeptierten ein „Nein“ schnell und ließen uns dann in Ruhe. Das Essen war großartig und bot eine große Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Der Service tagsüber war etwas langsam, aber das hat uns nicht weiter gestört - wir sind schließlich im Urlaub. :-) Das Personal war fantastisch – jeder, den wir getroffen haben, war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unsere tolle Kellnerin Alice. Ich habe mir auch eine Massage gegönnt und kann sie absolut empfehlen. Wir planen auf jeden Fall, wiederzukommen!
