is an excellent hotel - great breakfast and well located for dinning and close to Mekong river. Has maintained high standards for many years.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Lao Orchid Hotel. We spent five nights there, and it felt like staying with family. The décor is very traditional Lao style, which added to the charm. There’s no pool, which was perfectly fine for us. Our room was sparkling clean, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Breakfast was fresh and delicious—especially the coffee. There was always a smiling face to greet us as we came and went. The hotel is conveniently located, with many restaurants nearby. Starbucks is within walking distance, as well as the Mini Big C convenience store. It’s also close to the night market.

We stayed at Amari for four nights before checking into the Lao Orchid Hotel. We did not enjoy staying at Amari. We came across the hotel on our way to breakfast and lunch. We absolutely love this hotel—it feels like staying with family. The staff is so kind, and housekeeping is amazing. Breakfast is always fresh and delicious, and there’s always a smiling face as you come and go. The place is filled with real hardwood. It’s close to many restaurants, bars, and the night market. Cafe Amazon is just down the street, and Starbucks is within walking distance. It’s safe, clean, comfortable, and convenient. We highly recommend this hotel if you’re in the area.
