Lovely place to stay Very peaceful but not to far out

I stayed for five nights and overall have a good experience at Somerset. The hotel was well known so it was easy to point to taxi drivers who have minimal English. The hotel was situated on main road so it was easy to go around by food or by local Loca taxies. Little downside was the building has shown some age, so toilet problem (although this was fixed real quick), the bedding sheets were bit dusty so I asked for replacement, and dusty sofa (I have a bit of dust allergy) and curtains. But after a more thorough cleaning the room was quite comfortable from the second night. So, recommended with notes.

The location was very good and easy to and from the airport. My room was great. Check in was very easy and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Great place, great staff, great stay. The place has profile to the locals so be aware of that should the subject come up when out and about for negotiation purposes. Another review said its showing some minor signs of age which is true but I found my room in great condition. They're always doing maintenance and run a tight ship from what I can tell. I will stay again on my next visit to Laos!

I used to lived in this hotel apartment for 2 years about 10 years ago. It is quite well maintained and I have no complaint about the quality of facilities and services.

식사는 라오스를 생각하면 매우 만족 스럽습니다 세탁, 수영장 좋습니다. 핼스장이 더 좋았으면 합니다. 청소 만족합니다. 기간동안 매우 편안했어요

Very welcome staffs, nice rooms, clean and the most is WIFI and swimming pool for my children.

Okay, but eating was a problem, no restaurant only the morning breakfast for about three hours when nobody is awake! One lift under repair but not bad with only one working. Location not so good for food. In room shower could use a good cleaning grout mildew and floor corners dirty. Not a 4 Star hotel as advertised, more like a 3 Star for sure!

Alles OK. Leider kein Obst beim Frühstück. Sehr großes Zimmer. Sehr laute Klimaanlage, die man nachts abschalten muss sonst kann man nicht schlafen.

Too much mosquitoes with no way for guest to cope or deal with. At the price range this place is you would expect some hygeine care for guest especially during breakfast.

Perfect, even for a longer stay. Breakfast has improved significantly since my last stay and I still enjoy the nice garden with a large pool.

The Place is Next to a major road so I had noise all night. The guy at check in didn’t speak much English. The apartment was a bit dated. Breakfast was small but ok.

Pool very big, kitchen microwave is the best thing a hotel can have love it

모기가 많아 신경이 좀 쓰였습니다.

The room is spacious, and the staff is friendly. But the bugs (mosquitoes, flies) in the restaurant need to be managed.
