Poor service of Sona and pool

It was lovely thank you

Wonderful buffet breakfast, live music in lobby when we arrived, wonderful rooftop pool and rooftop bar. Heated outdoor and indoor at ground level, lovely sauna and small gym. Did not try the Spa but heard it was excellent. Lots of excellent restaurants very close by. The walk down to the beach is an excellent workout especially the uphill hike back (or grab a frequent bus or the Bolt rideshare which are abundant and inexpensive). Loved this hotel, our room was great, balcony was big and staff were amazing. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel, clean comfortable room, friendly attentive staff

The staff were really welcoming especially at the front desk. The food was excellent and the amenities were spot on. However our morning coffee mugs in our room was not washed and every day on our return to the room we had to wash them ourselves. Also on two occasions we had to asked for toilet paper as the cleaner did not restock with a spare apart from the one that was already being used.

Friendly helpful staff, excellent choices at breakfast.

Thank you for the great birthday surprise. The staff went beyond to assist. Would definitely recommend as everything was perfect. The chef was so helpful with my dietary requirements & made sure I was happy with my food. Great breakfast& dinner options.

Lovely stay at The Solana , the staff are so cheerful and welcoming and the food at the restaurant on the lower ground floor was superb 😁 very good value for money . The room i had was spotlessly clean and i had a great panoramic view .

All staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean and spacious and the leisure facilities a great bonus. Food in the Bellini restaurant was very good breakfast and dinner.

Room was spacious and comfortable except for the patio which directly looks into the adjacent rooms. Had a peak a view of the water. Level 4. Paid for “panoramic” view - not the case. The property was 5 min walk to the main church and across was a bus stop. Convenient. My room key failed 4 times. And staff was busy with check ins so I couldn’t get into my room for half an hour. Frustrating. Heated indoor pool and sauna was nice as it was too cold to enjoy the many rooftop outdoor pools. Views from rooftop was lovely.

Les Plus : Personnel courtois Rooftop avec piscines et bar très agréable. Salon avec mobilier contemporain et confortable. Les moins : Certaines chambres non rénovées ( chambres catégorie supérieure ) avec vue sur les chambres en face et sur le restaurant et en prime le bruit continuel de la ventilation sous les fenêtres, donc impossible de rester sur le balcon. Avons déménagé après avoir passé une nuit, pour être dans une chambre rénovée, mais pas la salles bain qui aurait besoin d'un grand rafraîchissement ( cabine de douche dont les portes qui ferment mal, joints de douche avec moisissures et serviettes de toilettes qui sont bonnes à remplacer, certaines sont effilochées, et ne sont plus vraiment blanches, plutôt grises. Restauration très moyenne, sommes restés 7 jours en demi pension, buffet répétitif, surtout aux niveau entrées, fromages et desserts. Problème d'hygiène : avons aperçu deux cafards sur le sol du restaurant, l'avons signalé au serveur qui en tué un. Il s'agit plus d'une ambiance cantine, car très bruyant avec de nombreux groupes sans-gênes. Pour finir, une clientèle majoritairement bas de gamme qui ne sont pas éduqués ( exemple, se promènent torse nu dans le hall et l'entrée de l'hôtel où hurlent dans la salle de restaurant où au bar ).
