Excellent hotel in a stunning location
We had a wonderful stay at Lux Le Morne Mauritius. The hotel is excellent, spotlessly clean, and set on a truly beautiful beach with breathtaking views.
One of the highlights of our trip was swimming with wild dolphins — absolutely well worth doing and an unforgettable experience.
I would definitely recommend spending the extra for an ocean view room; waking up to that view really added something special to our stay.
The restaurant was very good overall, although a few more themed evenings would be welcome, especially for guests staying for two weeks or longer.
The staff were amazing, particularly in the restaurant. They shared great tips about the island, made us laugh, and even brought us bowls of fresh lychees at breakfast — such a lovely touch. A special thank you to Cindy and Viswanee for making our stay even more memorable.
We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel.

Riesen Lob an alle, von Barmann, über Housekeeping, Service in den diversen Restaurants, Rezeption, … Die Essensauswahl war besonders gut und neben dem Hauptrestaurant gibt es zahlreiche schöne weitere kulinarische Hochgenüsse. Perfekt als Paar oder kleine Familie. Der Strand ist einer der schönsten Strände überhaupt. Wir durften als „Honeymooner“ in den Genuss von vielen Extras kommen, was den Aufenthalt noch besonderer gemacht hat. Rundum ein wunderschönes Resort und eine tolle Anlage mit mehreren Pools

Wunderbare Anlage, aus unserer Sicht sogar noch angenehmer als das « Paradis » (wo wir auch schon waren) und Dinarobin, da kleiner und architektonisch absolut perfekt in die Umgebung eingepasst.
Die Suiten sind klasse, insbesondere die sehr geschmackvollen Ocean-Suiten mit freiliegendem Dachstuhl und sehr nahem Strandzugang (über eine angenehme Rasenfläche). Aber auch die anderen Suiten sind mehr als in Ordnung.
Super bequeme, stilvolle und beschattete Liegestühle im Palmenbewachsenen Sandstrand.
Der im Grunde wahrscheinlich schönste Strandabschnitt am « außergewöhnlichen Le Morne Beach, da es hier keine Felsablagerungen wie z.B. vor dem Dinarobin gibt. Wer gerne schnorchelt, findet hier ohne große Ausflüge jede Menge Tropenfische in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Das Essen ist hochwertig und vielfältig.
Gerne wieder, war alles klasse.

Excellent hotel in a stunning location
We had a wonderful stay at Lux Le Morne Mauritius. The hotel is excellent, spotlessly clean, and set on a truly beautiful beach with breathtaking views.

A honeymoon to remember, for all the wrong reasons!
We booked a sunset suite which was unfortunately very dirty on arrival with a view of the back of a restaurant, no sunset! Hotel was full so ended up being downgraded to a basic room!
Overall we found the service very poor in some areas of the hotel, particularly breakfast.
Towels are on sun beds at 8am which doesn’t set a nice tone! Have to book restaurants in advance too.
Spa was very tired and not reflective of 5* hotel but spa treatments were enjoyable.
Hotel ruined our laundry! Which was the cherry on top of our stay.
Not sure where this hotel has so many excellent reviews. Unfortunately this was a very disappointing honeymoon, that did not live up to our expectations.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel! Die Lage ist traumhaft, direkt am Fusse des Le Morne Brabant, mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Essen war qualitativ hochwertig, abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker, für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind auch der schöne Strand und die bequemen Liegen, die zum Entspannen eingeladen haben.

We had a fantastic stay from start to finish as a party of 10 from grandparents down to young grandchildren. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were superb especially with the young children. The food and service was great and the location exceptional. We cannot recommend the hotel highly enough.

Unsere Reise ins Lux* Le Morne war einfach magisch. Die Lage am Fuße des majestätischen Berges mit dem atemberaubenden Strand ist paradiesisch. Unser Zimmer war wunderschön und makellos sauber, und die Betten waren unglaublich bequem. Das Essen in den Restaurants war exquisit und abwechslungsreich.
Was diesen Aufenthalt aber wirklich unvergesslich machte, war das Personal. Jeder Einzelne war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hat uns das Gefühl gegeben, etwas Besonderes zu sein.
Das Lux* Le Morne ist mehr als nur ein Hotel – es ist eine Erfahrung, die wir nicht vergessen werden. Absolute Empfehlung!

Très bon séjour en famille dans ce super cadre. Le personnel est adorable et aux petits soins. Les équipements sont un petit peu fatigués dans les chambres mais ça n’enlève rien au charme. La plage est grande et ce n’est pas la cohue pour réserver les transats comme ça peut l’être ailleurs.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and the amenities and setting are in tune with nature. It's a great place to stay and relax. Our top deck chalet room was 20 metres from the beach and 15 metres from the restaurant. Just perfect to zone out and chill for a week.The staff were great, attentive and helpful when needed and never too forward. Food excellent, plenty of choice - just a great week in a fabulous location. Venture out into the national park or take a glass bottom boat to interrupt the beach time.
HIGHLY recommended - hotel and location.
