We stayed for 8 nights as a family of four and found the experience mixed, overall below expectations for a 4-star hotel. Positives: staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. Food quality was good at the start of the stay. However, several issues impacted our experience: Rooms felt dated and in need of renovation. The air conditioning leaked, wardrobe fittings were loose with rusty hangers, and shelving was uneven. Space was very limited, especially in the children’s room. Housekeeping was inconsistent (not enough towels, water not always replenished), and work was carried out in the room one day without prior notice, leaving a strong smell. The advertised complimentary water activities were not usable due to tides, despite being listed daily. Over 8 days we couldn’t use any. The pool area also felt under-maintained at times. As a vegetarian family, food options became repetitive and limited. The Deck restaurant had no vegetarian mains at lunch, and even on Mauritian nights there were missing vegetarian accompaniments. Also disappointing that water is not included at dinner on half board. Overall, good staff but the hotel didn’t meet expectations, particularly for families.

Personnel vraiment très gentils, souriants et serviables. Chambre familiale propre, pratique et spacieuse. Hôtel à ciel ouvert les pieds nus très agréable.

Staff are lovely. Food is fantastic. Aircon is a bit hit and miss but think they are having an upgrade soon. Everyone made every effort to make our holiday special. Would highly recommend

La chambre est bien, il y a de très nombreux rangements. tout le personnel est irréprochable. il y a de nombreux chiens et chats errants un peu partout dans l'hôtel, même au restaurant !!! INACCEPTABLE. Le second point exagéré, le prix de 200roupies pour une bouteille d'eau de 75cl à table. C'est prendre les touristes pour des ........

la restauration est variée et de qualité L'emplacement sur la plage est très agréable et la décoration est raffinée Néanmoins, il n'y a pas de profondeur sur la plage face à l'hôtel. Au vue des commentaires sur les chiens, je peux assurer qu'ils ne sont absolument pas gênants même plutôt attachants. Ils sont présents pour garder la plage. Les chambres méritent peut-être un raffraichissement Je crois que c'est prévu prochainement. Globalement ce fut un excellent séjour de 5 nuits Je recommande

Rengøring under vores ophold på værelse 1005 var fremragende 🌸. Personalet var meget venlige, smilende og med god humor 😊.

Das Hotel ist etwas kleiner, was ich sehr gut finde, und liegt inmitten einer traumhaften Anlage mit vielen Palmen und Blumen. Hinzu kommen die vielen Vögel, die den ganzen Tag singen. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Egal, wo man gerade ist, es wird immer gegrüßt. Das Essen ist gut, sehr abwechslungsreich. In der Hauptsaison wird es aber schnell voll am Bufett. Das Zimmer ist recht groß und sauber. Das Bett ist bequem. Nur der laute Kühlschrank nervt etwas. Ansonsten ist alles super gewesen. So stelle ich mir ein Hotel in den Tropen vor 😄

Fina och välstädade rum. Mycket vänlig personal. Vi hade halvpension men var inte så imponerade av maten. Men frukost var bra! Finns inte så mycket affärer/restauranger i närheten men hotellet ordnar shuttlebus till Trou aux Biches varje dag och busshållplats för lokalbussen är precis utanför hotellet.

Hotellet är fint och mysigt och passar barnfamiljer väl. Hotellet har en egen liten strand och sen finns det en gratis shuttle till Troux aux Biches varje dag. Det var bra variation av frukost och middag.. alla i familjen hittade något att äta. Vi hade lite otur första dagen då vi upplevde servicen som lite sämre.. tog lång tid med incheckning och vi fick inte våra väskor till rummet utan fick hämta dem själva men hotellet växte på oss under vistelsen. När vi sedan jämför med andra hotell i samma prisklass så var detta ett av de bättre hotellen vi bodde på, i synnerhet när det kom till variation av mat och även läge. Det var enkelt att ta sig med buss eller taxi till både Grand Baie och Port Louis. Vi är sammantaget nöjda med upplevelsen.

Honestly, there’s a star or two too much in play here, the hotel itself is, at best, very average. But, location wise, with the view, sunsets etc it obviously great. Also, the buildings, area surrounding inside complex also nice. Room was ok’ish. But cramped, and dead hard beds, also ant issue in bathroom in particular, but fair enough. Most of the staff friendly, but a couple of divas, especially in reception, which really the place could do without. Food was below par. We time and time again experienced breakfast not being stocked up, even before 9am, which really is unheard of, seeing breakfast ends 10am. We only had one dinner in restaurant, really because it was bad. Had some lunches, none of which very memorable, more because there wasn’t too many options nearby. Selection not as you should expect either. All in all, nice place, but plenty to work with, especially staff wise and food wise. And yes, there’s at least one star too many on that hotel logo…
